This month's edition of The Boys' Seven on 7 newscast gives viewers their first look at new hero Blue Hawk. To help tide fans over as they wait for the arrival of The Boys season 3, Amazon has found several unique ways to keep the buzz going after last year's hugely successful season 2. The show's powerful in-universe corporation Vought has been busy becoming an active presence on social media, and each month has seen the release of a new VNN Seven on 7 news video revealing peeks at what The Boys' season 3 story will be.

Fans need every hint they can get, because The Boys has been careful to keep everything tightly under wraps. In fact, the storylines for returning characters like Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and Homelander (Antony Starr) remain a mystery while much of the promotional efforts have been centered around new characters. In The Boys season 3, the team Payback will make their debut; special attention has been placed on member Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), one of Vought's original superheroes. After being portrayed as a naïve idiot in the comics, Soldier Boy is getting a revamped arc for the television show.

One of The Boys' newest heroes got a sneak peek in the latest Seven on 7 video, shared by Vought International on, appropriately, December 7. Tucked into a news story about OurSheet CEO Mickey Londale (a clear parody of MyPillow guy Mike Lindell) is the first look at Blue Hawk (Nick Wechsler). As he doesn't originate from the comics, little is known about Blue Hawk, though Seven on 7 host Cameron Coleman (Matthew Edison) describes him as a patriotic hero. Check out the video and the official image of Blue Hawk down below.

Blue Hawk- Portrayed By Nick Wechsler The Boys season 3

Other highlights of the new Seven on 7 video include a message from Homelander pledging to do better in the wake of the Stormfront controversy and the news that Hughie (Jack Quaid) has been making the rounds in public alongside Congresswoman Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit). As the end of The Boys season 2 revealed, Neuman isn't quite the crusading public officer she appears to be, making Hughie's new position in her office concerning. And yet, as the video hints, he's becoming a trusted member of her team.

Going back to the Blue Hawk development, it's rather interesting that he's being positioned as a patriotic hero when The Boys already has Homelander and Soldier Boy. Based on his costume and name, one can assume there's more to Blue Hawk than his love of America, but so far that's his most defining feature. Wechsler is set to have a recurring role in The Boys season 3, so it remains to be seen how much he'll factor into the overall story. Regardless of that, though, his introduction demonstrates just how big the show's universe is getting, and it's showing no signs of slowing down.
