The storylines in The Boys season 3 have sure packed a punch, with Maeve and Butcher's relationship setting the fandom abuzz. But there are other characters beyond the vigilante group who make the show compelling. Among them are Supes like Homelander, who has become the target of a serious plan by The Boys to take him out.

From Supes to regular everyday Joes, characters who are on the side of “good” to those... not so good, there are many characters fans would love to see more of on the show.

Black Noir

the boys black noir

Black Noir was presumed dead after being exposed to peanuts, which he is severely allergic to. But it appears he is still very much alive, though likely not in the same form he once was. In season 3, it was revealed who he truly is, and how he came to wear the mask. While he originally did not want to given that Stan urged him to do so to hide the fact that he was Black, a major explosion on a military base left Black Noir burned and more receptive to covering up.

Fans want to see more of him, learn if he still has powers, and get a better understanding of what has happened to him since the near-death experience, especially since his martial arts skills and enhanced strength and durability make his powers among the strongest and most useful of Supes on The Boys.

Soldier Boy

Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy in The Boys

There's no doubt that Soldier Boy will get more screen time now that he has been officially introduced in present day. Held in captivity for decades, he was not surprisingly angered when he was finally released, looking to get revenge on those who wronged him.

Fans can't wait to see what happens next with Soldier Boy, who he will side with, and if he might prove to be Homelander's biggest challenge yet. Given that he hasn't been around for decades as well, fans wonder how Soldier Boy will fit in with more modern society. Already, he has shown glimpses of disgust at things going on around him.

Kimiko

Kimiko in The Boys season 3

Kimiko was one of the most mysterious and compelling characters when she was introduced. In most scenes now, she is seen with Frenchie. And while they have one of the best friendships on The Boys, fans would also love to see more solo Kimiko time and, in particular, more of the ferocious Kimiko with superpowers.

Kimiko is clear that she hates having her powers and was elated when she awoke in a hospital and no longer possessed them. But the fierce fighter who will do anything to protect her family and The Boys, and can regenerate herself any time she is harmed or killed, is the character fans want to see more of.

Victoria Neuman

The-Boys-Victoria-Neuman

Victoria has had a big part in season 3 so far, with Hughie finally discovering her true identity, though she doesn't know this yet. As a secret Supe who can literally blow people's heads up in an instant, she is someone to be feared. But she could also be an ally.

While her interests are with the Supes, as the ironic leader of an FBI unit designed to keep them in check, her true motives and goals are unknown. With her having betrayed Stan Edgar, fans want to see more of what this powerful Supe can do, and if she might actually be the one to stand up to Homelander.

Todd

Todd watching the news in The Boys

Fans have only seen glimpses so far of Monique's new boyfriend Todd, who has seemingly taken on a stepdad role to her and Mother's Milk's daughter Janine. He seems very nice... oddly too nice. In one scene, Todd is glaring at the TV in awe as Homelander goes on a rant about how he is treated unfairly as a Supe.

Fans suspect there's more going on beneath the surface, and that Todd might have as unhealthy an obsession with the Supes as Mother's Milk, but for different reasons. Fans want to learn more about who he is.

Homelander

It's no surprise that Homelander already gets some of the most screen time on the show — fans adore love to hate him. He's compelling to watch, at the center of every storyline, and is unpredictable and rash.

Thus, despite how much screen time he already gets, the truth is that fans simply can't get enough of Homelander. There's no such thing as too much screen time for a character of his magnitude.

Ryan

Ryan from The Boys standing outside, looking unsure.

The future of the Supes and corporations like Vought lie in the hands of the next generation, and that is represented beautifully by Ryan, one of the characters in The Boys show but not the comics. Homelander's biological son, Ryan possesses powers but doesn't know how to use them as he has never been trained.

Fans would love to see more storylines centered around the young boy honing his skills and fighting back. With Billy Butcher now someone he no longer looks up to, it's possible Ryan could become an enemy of The Boys and an ally to his dad.

Supersonic

Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic in The Boys

Interestingly, while Supersonic was killed by Homelander in the fourth episode of the show, the actor who plays him is credited on IMDb with appearing in seven episodes. Is it possible Homelander didn't really kill him, or that Supersonic comes back to life? Perhaps he is only shown through flashbacks.

Whatever the case, fans want to see more of Starlight's first love, learn if he was being true and honest in his motivations to help her, or if he was simply trying to reignite a romantic spark. There were too many questions left unanswered for the character.

Cassandra

A close up of Cassandra from The Boys smiling.

There's something intriguing about Cassandra, one of the low-key villains on The Boys, that leaves fans wanting to see more of her. While fans don't like how she treats her husband The Deep, and her constant pushing of him to do anything and everything Vought and Homelander tell him to do, they can't help but suspect that there might be deeper motivations there.

Is Cassandra still secretly a member of the Church of Collective and trying to use Deep to push their ideology? Is she simply power-hungry and looking to cash in on fame, money, and influence? Fans want more of her, and the pair, together.

Ashley

Colby-Minifie

When it comes to someone — anyone — who might be able to help Starlight and The Boys proceed with their plan to take down Homelander, Ashley is at the top of the list. She has the access and the power at Vought. And she showed a glimmer of becoming a potential ally when she almost gave up crucial information to Starlight following a desperate plea.

Ashley is shaken by Homelander. She is terrified any time she is in his presence, and she’s fully aware that she has to manipulate situations to ensure that he is always happy and feels like he’s in power, even when it isn’t the right thing to do. Fans want to see not only more of Ashley, but they want to see some character development and her shifting to the other side.
