Here are all the super-fast speeders revealed in The Boys so far. Based on the comic book series of the same name, Amazon's The Boys is a superhero story with a difference. Flipping the usual dynamic of Marvel and DC, The Boys' superheroes are the bad guys, and their enemies are... slightly less bad guys. However, The Boys does follow the giants of the comic book world by introducing a wide variety of superpowers. From regenerating limbs to popping heads, there's an ability for every occasion in The Boys.

Since The Boys serves as a parody of both DC and Marvel, it's no surprise that many of the classic comic book superpowers are represented. Super strength, invisibility, flight, and laser vision are all included, checking off the list of genre classics. Another common power in The Boys is super-speed in the style of The Flash or Quicksilver. Some possess the ability exclusively as their main selling point, but others are blessed with heightened speed as part of a wider power set. Super-speed is, of course, an important power in the story of The Boys, with the accidental death of Hughie's girlfriend by an errant speedster leading directly to his meeting with Billy Butcher.

The main speedsters seen or referenced in The Boys so far are:

A.Train with his arms crossed

A-Train - A member of the Seven and the world's fastest man when The Boys begins, although he relies heavily on Compound-V to maintain that title. A-Train is enamored with the lifestyle of a superhero, but his addiction causes the death of Hughie's girlfriend, which in turn triggers the revival of the Boys. By the end of The Boys season 2, A-Train has worked his way back into the Seven and, despite creeping health issues, can still cover city blocks in mere moments.

Shockwave - Introduced in The Boys season 1, the cocky Shockwave would likely have usurped A-Train as the Seven's resident speedster were it not for Reggie's doping habit. Despite losing a well-publicized race in season 1, Shockwave replaces A-Train when Homelander begins reshaping the Seven in The Boys season 2. His reign doesn't last long - Shockwave is killed by Neuman as part of the senate hearing attack.

Mister Marathon - Modeled after DC's old-school Flash, Mister Marathon was the Seven's speedster before A-Train. Lamplighter's comments suggest Marathon was just as egotistical and hedonistic as the other superheroes, and his stint in the Seven was shorter than A-Train's.

Other supes have exhibited speed beyond the parameters of a regular human, even though quickness isn't their primary ability.

Homelander - Among his various powers, Homelander can move with superhuman agility, and is especially speedy when travelling by air.

Queen Maeve - While she's nowhere close to A-Train's speed, Maeve runs along a building in The Boys' season 1 premiere.

Black Noir - When Black Noir arrives on Billy's aunt's doorstep in The Boys season 2, M.M. claims that Black Noir "moves faster than a car." This would be enough to catch Usain Bolt, but not sufficient to keep up with A-Train.

The Female - Kimiko faces off against Black Noir in The Boys season 1, and appears to use super-speed to tackle him. However, Kimiko's speed seems more about quick movements than running really fast.

While The Boys already has plenty of speedsters on board, more could arrive in season 3 - Soldier Boy, for example, who possesses similar powers to Captain America. Even with the addition of Jensen Ackles' patriotic supe, A-Train will remain the only "pure" speedster in The Boys unless Mister Marathon is introduced as another retired member of the Seven. The Boys needs to keep at least one character with super-speed on their books - not only is the power incredibly useful from a narrative perspective (e.g. A-Train stealing Stormfront's file), but the presence of a speedster will always remind Hughie of why he first joined Butcher's crusade against superheroes.
