A savvy player of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has managed to replace the iconic Master Sword with a Bomb Arrow to create what they've dubbed the "legendary Master Bomb Arrow." The discovery is one of an ever-growing list of in-game tweaks and exploits players have discovered, along with glitches to increase heart containers, and tricks to take down Zelda: Breath of the Wild Lynels.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the most successful in the series, winning fans over with its beautiful open-world and varied gameplay options. Players aren't just free to take on the end-game boss from the moment they begin their adventure but are also able to use various weapon combinations and tools to curate creative and strategic attacks on any enemies they encounter. It does not just combat options that are available for creative gamers, with one crafty player even finding a new way to travel in-game using the game's Master Cycle Zero and a raft to create a Breath of the Wild motorboat.

Breath of the Wild is also popular thanks to its exploits, which can be used to present new and interesting ways to play the game. Redditor and BOTW fan RinHara5aki recently discovered how the replace the game's Master Sword with a Bomb Arrow. Demonstrating the seemingly impossible feat in a video, the user showed their Link pulling the sparking weapon from the Master Sword seal in a twisted version of the iconic cutscene. Explaining just how the maneuver was achieved, the player noted the many exploits used in its creation. The trick requires a number of complex steps, and players not used to utilizing glitches within their gameplay may struggle to replicate it within their own games. Thankfully, BOTW fans can at least watch the feat being performed in full thanks to the user's video.

The Breath of the Wild Master Sword campfire trick mentioned by the player is one previously discovered by them and gives gamers the chance to immediately add the Master Sword to their inventory even if early into the game. Usually, retrieving the Master Sword involves acquiring enough Heart Containers to survive its removal, something which isn't typically possible until later in the story. Players looking to recreate RinHara5ake's "legendary Master Bomb Arrow" without the required 13 Heart Containers will need to instead use a bundle of wood and the recently-discovered exploit.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will release in 2022, though Nintendo has yet to specify an exact date. The game was first announced in 2019, with a new trailer finally revealed earlier this summer. While details on the upcoming title are sparse, player theories are already rife, with many backing the unconfirmed theory of multiple Links in BOTW 2. Players still have some time to wait until the sequel's release, though there are plenty of Zelda: Breath of the Wild exploits to enjoy in the meantime.
