A skilled Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild player has showcased almost everything the game has to offer in combat in one single gameplay clip, highlighting the multiple mechanics that can make BOTW battles so dynamic. Breath of the Wild remains one of the Nintendo Switch's most popular games, not just because of its huge open-world, but also because of its multi-faceted gameplay.

Ever since Breath of the Wild first launched alongside the Switch in 2017, fans have been discovering new ways to test the game's capabilities to their limits. As well as having near-limitless weapon variations at their disposal, players can also use runes to manipulate the world around them, freezing bodies of water, keeping items held in mid-air, and more. The variety of tools BOTW has means that there are countless creative ways to bring down everything from basic run-of-the-mill enemies to Breath of the Wild's challenging Lynels.

Redditor Jhent has shown off not only their own Breath of the Wild battle skills, but also close to all of the game's many different available tools and mechanics. In a recent video, Jhent takes down a Moblin with impressive flair and style, making use of not only multiple weapons, but also runes, in-game features, and even a nearby metal box. The flurry of action brings down the Moblin in seconds, and the ultimate showcase of BOTW gameplay has seen tens of thousands of upvotes on the Breath of the Wild subreddit.

The impressive Breath of the Wild player moves at incredible speed, but the movesets, weapons, and methods of attack are fairly easy to break down should anyone want to try anything similar in their own game. The user begins by using the Magnesis rune to throw a metal box just before the Moblin attacks. Dodging the move, the player successfully performs a Flurry Rush before pulling out the Ice Arrows to freeze the Moblin in place. This is done just as the metal block falls back to earth, with the user stopping it mid-air with the Stasis rune. The player then opens their inventory and selects a Sunshroom which is dropped and hit with a Fire Arrow, creating an updraft, which the player utilizes with the paraglider to expertly land on the metal box. The player then selects their Thunderblade which is used on the metal surface to create multiple thunder attacks. Ice Arrows are again used, this time on both the box and the Moblin. The box's Statis hold breaks, launching it at the Moblin which is sent into the distance before meeting its demise.

While Jhent's impressive Moblin takedown might take a while to perfect, there are still plenty of other ways to get creative with everything Breath of the Wild has to offer. As well as its arsenal of weapons and gameplay mechanics, the game is home to glitches and exploits that can help take players' experiences even further. Breath of the Wild glitches have previously turned the game into a first-person adventure, or have even made Ganon fail to spawn. The variety the Nintendo hit offers is part of what makes it still such a popular game, despite being four years old.
