Chandler Brooks was a bosun on Below Deck season 6, before he was unceremoniously fired, and fans think that Captain Lee Rosbach made the right call. He only lasted for nine episodes, but left an impression that spanned the entire charter season. He had a poor work ethic and subpar leadership skills, so many fans celebrated when he finally left My Seanna.

As a Below Deck bosun, Chandler was in charge of Ashton Pienaar, Ross Inia, and Rhylee Gerber. Though he initially had a positive outlook on his crew, whenever Captain Lee told Chandler that he needed to improve, he blamed his crew, instead of taking responsibility. When guests boarded the luxury yacht, Chandler chose that time to pull the entire deck crew together, and have a meeting assigning first, second, and thirds in command. He and his team were not there to bring the charter guests' luggage to their cabins, which was one in a long line of mistakes.

Chandler was in hot water with Captain Lee on several occasions. He changed the radio frequency for his entire deck crew without telling the captain, so he had no way of communicating with him if there was an emergency. Chandler also left on a fishing excursion without telling the captain, leading to him getting blamed for several problems with the hot tub. Because of Chandler, the morale on Below Deck season 6 was very low, and he did not earn the respect of his deck team, or Captain Lee.

Chandler often acted condescending and rude towards his deckhand Rhylee, which turned many Below Deck fans against him. He was not the only crew member to struggle on the charter season, as third stew Caroline Bedol quit at the same time that Chandler was fired. Her exit was one of the most dramatic, as she made claims that chief stew Kate Chastain and second stew Josiah Carter were bullies. Most Below Deck fans were happy to see the two leave the boat, following several uncomfortable episodes.

Most fans agreed that Chandler getting fired was for the best, because he was not right for the crew, and they were thrilled to see Ross promoted. Even Chandler agreed with the decision, as he was relieved to be let go. However, some fans of the show wish that Chandler had finished the rest of the charter season, for the sake of entertainment. He constantly fought with the captain and chief stew, which made for a lot of drama throughout his time on season 6. Chandler did not even come to the Below Deck reunion, and he has stayed out of the spotlight, so fans are not likely to see him on the show again.
