The trailer has been released for Bosch season 7. Inspired by the novels of Michael Connelly and created by Connelly himself, the Amazon Prime procedural follows LAPD homicide detective Hieronymus "Harry" Bosch (Titus Welliver) investigating murders in picturesque Hollywood. The series' large ensemble cast includes The Wire alumni Lance Riddick as Chief Irvin Irving and Jamie Hector as Harry's partner Jerry Edgar, both of whom may be in line for expanded storylines in the recently announced Bosch spinoff on IMDb TV.

Now, Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer for Bosch season 7. Premiering June 25, Bosch's "final case" finds the tough-as-nails detective facing a threat that puts not just his life at risk, but also that of his teenage daughter, Madeline (Madison Lintz). Up against the "female Stringer Bell," Bosch must make the impossible choices that could define his life, legacy, and possibly the fate of the city of Los Angeles. The stirring preview also highlights Bosch's unshakeable demeanor and strict moral code, rare qualities among the current prestige TV detective crowd. Check out the trailer in full below.

Bosch is Amazon's longest-running original series and was developed by TV crime veteran Eric Overmeyer. Since its 2015 premiere, the detective drama has been a constant for the streaming service, outlasting more heralded Amazon Originals like Sneaky Pete and Man in the High Castle, on which Overmeyer wrote and produced. With the recent release of Amazon's critically-acclaimed The Underground Railroad and plenty more to come, Bosch can ride off into the sunset knowing that the platform it anchored for all those years is in good creative hands.
