Borderlands 3 is loaded with legendary loot. from guns to grenades, there's something for everyone in Borderlands 3. Each weapon has a manufacturer and each manufacturer adds different and unique abilities to their weapons. One of the most common manufacturers is the Children of the Vault. COV weapons are plentiful around Pandora and come in all shapes and sizes. But as far as Legendary status, there are only pistol and assault rifle options.

The most unique part of COV guns is the ability to continuously shoot without reloading, the gun will keep shooting until you run out of ammo or it overheats. A heat gauge is located right above the ammo count. If the gun overheats too much it has the chance to break, so keep an eye on that gauge. Below is the list of every Legendary COV gun and it's general location.

The COV Legendary pistols aren't the most powerhouse of weapons. However, each one holds a special attribute that makes them stand out in the crowd and they can make for a great backup pistol if other ammo runs dry. Finding most of these weapons is purely luck of the drop but a few can be farmed in specific areas of Pandora.

  • Linoge - (Incendiary & Radiation) The Linoge Pistol shoots ricocheting bullets when fired and can be found randomly through drops.
  • Pestilence - (Radiation) Whenever the Pestilence breaks it will cause a massive radiation explosion. It can be dropped during the Heckle & Hyde fight in Jakobs Estate.
  • Psycho Stabber - (Kinetic) This gun comes with a melee damage +125% stat boost and is a rare spawn in the Meridian Outskirts.
  • SkekSil - (Incendiary, Shock, & Cryo) The SkekSil will shoot out two rockets randomly and can be found during the Skrakk Legendary Hunt in Ascension Bluff.

Every Legendary COV Assault Rifle in Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3 Children of the Vault Assault Rifle

The assault rifles by COV are some dangerous ones to toy around with. Most of them will literally set you on fire randomly. They have some power behind them but could be very dangerous if misused. As with everything in Borderlands 3, sometimes you gotta risk it for the biscuit.

  • Embrace the Pain - (Incendiary) This gun has a random chance to set you on fire and is found through random drops.
  • Pain is Power - (Incendiary) Pain is Power will definitely set you on fire if you let it overheat and is found through random drops.
  • Sawbar - (Incendiary) Sawbar's bullets will split in two when they hit the enemy and it is found through random drops.

The Children of the Vault guns don't supply a whole lot of Legendaries but they are some solid weapons to have in the early-game. Generally, COV guns can make great backup weapons when your bigger, better guns run dry.
