Warning: SPOILERS for The Book of Boba Fett episode 2.

The Book of Boba Fett has already answered several questions about the bounty hunter, but the Disney+ series continues to hide Slave-1. Boba Fett's (Temuera Morrison) new solo series showcases the bounty hunter's Star Wars journey in both the past and present. Through flashbacks, the series features Boba Fett's adventures after surviving his fall into the Sarlacc pit from Return of the Jedi. The series also reveals Tusken Raiders took the bounty hunter captive, and Boba Fett eventually learned their ways and became accepted as one of their own. In the present, Book of Boba Fett focuses on the bounty hunter's attempt to take Jabba the Hutt's place as the crime lord on Tatooine.

Boba Fett's ship, Slave-1, is almost as iconic as the bounty hunter. First appearing in The Empire Strikes Back, Slave-1 is a modified Firespray-31-class patrol and attack ship previously used by Boba Fett's father, Jango Fett (also played by Temuera Morrison). Despite losing the ship after falling into the Sarlacc pit, Boba Fett regains possession of the vessel at some point and uses it to help Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) in The Mandalorian. He then uses the ship to arrive on Tatooine with Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) and claim Jabba's throne.

Despite Slave-1 being an iconic ship in Star Wars, its location is a mystery in The Book of Boba Fett's first two episodes. However, that will soon change. The ship has shown up in the trailers for the series, so it's definitely on Tatooine and will become a part of The Book of Boba Fett as season 1 continues. In addition, it appears in an episode 2 flashback while Boba Fett goes through a lizard-induced psychedelic experience. The ship's current location is likely a Book of Boba Fett spoiler; however, the trailers may have already hinted at the ship showing up in an iconic setting.

Boba Fett with Slave 1 Firespray ship

Slave-1 could be in Jabba the Hutt's Palace Garage. In images from the Book of Boba Fett trailers, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand approach Slave-1 in what appears to be a garage. Another shot from the trailers seems to show Boba Fett scoping out a location similar to the Palace Garage seen in Star Wars Battlefront. During the trailer moment with Slave-1, Boba Fett also appears to wear the Tusken Raider garb he acquires in Book of Boba Fett episode 2. All signs point to Slave-1 making its debut soon and possibly showing up in the iconic Star Wars location. Since Boba Fett still needs to reclaim the ship in the series, it appears a reunion in the mystery garage is on the way.

While the trailers point to the ship appearing in the Palace Garage, the series doesn't confirm its location. The Book of Boba Fett keeps its secrets close to the chest, and Slave-1 likely hasn't appeared yet because the series has some surprises in store. Though it seems the ship shows up in Jabba's Palace Garage at some point, anything could've happened to Slave-1 while Boba Fett struggled in the belly of the Sarlacc. In now non-canon Star Wars stories, Slave-1 even orbited Tatooine for a while after Boba Fett's Sarlacc struggle. Due to the trailers, it appears the ship is on Tatooine, but, for all fans know, it could wind up in another galaxy far, far away.
