Lucasfilm has released character posters highlighting the newest characters introduced in The Book of Boba Fett, including the Tusken Chief, the Hutt twins, and Black Krrsantan. The Book of Boba Fett is Star Wars' second live-action series, spinning off from the events of The Mandalorian. The series follows the titular Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and his partner, Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), as they lay claim to the criminal empire formerly governed by Jabba the Hutt. Although only two episodes have been released since its debut late last month, the show has already made substantial contributions to Star Wars lore.

The latest character posters for The Book of Boba Fett from Lucasfilm show off Fett's newest allies and rivals. Like previous posters, the characters are shown to be enveloped in a gust of orange sand. Check out the images below:

While the Tuskens and the Hutts are original characters created for the show, Black Krrsantan actually made his debut in Star Wars canon within the pages of Marvel's 2015 Darth Vader comics. Disney's Star Wars films were often criticized for ignoring (or at times, outright contradicting) developments in the wider canon, which is an issue that the franchise's Disney+ series are evidently addressing. Cobb Vanth's (Timothy Olyphant) appearance in season 2 of The Mandalorian was the first high-profile case of a character making the jump from publishing to live-action; now, Black Krrsantan is the second. With five episodes left to go, The Book of Boba Fett will undoubtedly contain more surprises and connections for diehard fans of the franchise to enjoy.
