Numerous Bond Girls have survived the James Bond movies, despite the accusation that all interesting women in the franchise are killed off. In fact, more than 60 women have been romanced by and fought alongside 007 and haven't ended up dead by the end credits. The James Bond films began in 1962 with Dr. No and became the longest-running movie franchise in history, with the 25th Bond film, No Time To Die, expected to release in November 2020.

Although the 007 films have been broken up into two separate timelines - the original James Bond continuity made up of the movies starring Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan, and the rebooted canon starring Daniel Craig - the Bond Girls have been a standard throughout. James Bond is a known womanizer and the franchise has always featured several beautiful women as his romantic foils, occasional partners, and also sometimes his enemies. The Bond Girls almost always get caught up in 007's violent missions, although some are just random encounters that become sexual conquests for the British spy.

Although many Bond Girls have died throughout the saga, either because 007 was unable to save them or because they were evil and James used his license to kill on them, the M16's agent's success rate skews towards more Bond Girls living than dying. The only Bond movie where every single one of the Bond Girls died, including James' love Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), was 2006's Casino Royale. Otherwise, 007 usually ends his films with at least one Bond Girl alive, and they are usually his lover by the end, although Bond quickly moves on and Bond Girls rarely make a reappearance in the next film. Here is every Bond Girl who lived through the currently released James Bond movies.

Dr. No (1962) - Honey Ryder, Miss Taro, Sylvia Trench

Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress) became the quintessential Bond Girl when she rose out of the sea in Dr. No. Despite being captured and placed in a death trap, Bond rescued her and they escaped the destruction of Dr. No's island fortress, making her the franchise's first main Bond Girl to survive a Bond movie.

Two other Bond Girls in Dr. No also lived: Miss Taro (Zena Marshall), who worked for Dr. No, was taken into custody. Dr. No also introduced Sylvia Trench (Eunice Grayson), who Bond romances when he's back home in London.
