Players will be able to upgrade their Bomb storage in Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. This guide will show players how they can unlock them all. It's fairly normal for Zelda titles to introduce different ways for players to upgrade their gear. From the ability to carry additional arrows with a larger quiver to a bigger wallet to carry more rupees, players are able to explore the lands and discover new ways to make Link stronger. In the case of Skyward Sword, this is the origin point for much of the lore in the series. Players are even able to unlock upgrades to the sword to create the Master Sword for the very first time. When exploring the surface, players will come across tons of Bomb related puzzles. This guide will show players how they can increase how many bombs they can carry at a time.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD does come along with a handful of quality-of-life improvements such as the ability to play the game without using its motion controls. Not only that, but players will have improved visuals, the ability to skip cutscenes, and streamlines dialogue when picking up an item the player has previously found. Regardless of how the player wants to enjoy the game, upgrades are scattered around the lands for players to find. Here is how players can increase their total Bomb storage in Skyward Sword HD.

There are 2 upgrades for players to find throughout their adventure. When exploring, players will come across tons of crafting materials that can be used to build additional upgrades. Here is how players can unlock every Bomb upgrade.

  • Medium Bomb Bag: Players can create this over at the Scrap Shop for 50 Rupees. They will also need the Small Bomb Bag, 3 Ornamental Skull, 1 Blue Bird Feather, and 1 Lizard Tail.
  • Large Bomb Bag: Players can also create this over at the Scrap Shop for 100 Rupees. They will need the Medium Bomb Bag, 4 Jelly Blobs, 3 Lizard Tail, 2 Hornet Larvae, and 1 Golden Skull.

It's a huge relief that the game has trimmed down on the dialogue when grabbing new items. When hunting for materials, it got really annoying to have to read the same prompt over and over again. This is one of those additions that make the game better for everyone. Bombs are valuable for finding hidden locations and treasures scattered around the surface and the sky.
