With a show as popular as Bob’s Burgers, there are countless clips that float around on social media and are instantly recognizable to the series for its unique comedic style and skilled cast.
One of the most popular soundbites from Bob’s Burgers appears in season 3 episode 7, “Tina-Rannosaurus Wrecks.” Tina is given the chance to drive her Dad’s car after a successful shopping trip. As this is usually an exciting, though daunting experience for first-time drivers, Tina becomes quickly overwhelmed, even with her father’s guidance. Tina’s signature anxiousness grows, highlighting her nerves as she gets behind the wheel. Despite the nearly empty car park, Tina manages to drive directly into the back of the only other vehicle in sight.
Using the script from the episode, a Spotify playlist was created and posted to the Bob’s Burgers official Instagram. This is part of a popular social media trend where fans will recreate their favorite scenes from TV shows and movies with Spotify playlists. This playlist uses song titles to recreate the “Tina-Rannosaurus Wrecks” clip dialogue, resulting in a 5-hour and 29-minute playlist. A screen recording of this was posted on the show’s social media, attached to the audio of Tina’s first time behind the wheel over the top as the video scrolls down the playlist. It has been over 12 years since Bob’s Burgers first aired, and the series has enjoyed immense success, accumulating a large fanbase along the way.
