There's always that supporting character who is a bit cooky and excentric. That person is Teddy (Larry Murphy) from Bob's Burgers. Self-proclaimed best friend of Bob and handyman, that's Teddy. For some odd reason, Teddy reminds you of one of your uncles.

Teddy is a good friend to Bob and Linda and a loyal customer. He has a burger every single day. Although Teddy is a good sport, he does have his quirks and bizarre moments. Here are 10 of Teddy's odd moments that will have you shaking your head.

Restaurant Dance Partner

Linda is a trooper and willing to help anyone when in need, even Teddy. Teddy is a bit self-conscious since he can't dance and has a family wedding that weekend. Lind is on it and helps teach him some moves.

The bizarre moment occurs when Teddy convinces a male customer to dance by gyrating his body. He manages to succeed while getting jiggy with it. He even manages to execute the famous lift from Dirty Dancing.

Dr.Glenn Wellness

When the Belcher kids get back at a substitute science teacher who has it out for Louise, they ask Teddy for help. His job is to turn on the electricity when Louise gives him the cue. It's unlikely that anyone would catch him in the basement of the school. Teddy comes up with the most bizarre cover story instead of just saying his actual job as a handyman.

He tells Lousie his cover is as Dr. Glenn Wellness who served in Korea and handled a triage alone. For some more flare, Dr.Wellness got the highest MCAT's in the state. Teddy also goes a bit stir crazy alone in the dark basement.

Wants To Take Part In Sexy Cooking

Teddy doesn't do well with the ladies and sadly doesn't have much of a social life. But he tends to take it a bit far when it comes to Bob and Linda. When Linda creates a Valentine's Day advent calendar, Teddy is too eager to be a part of it.

Despite it being for only Linda and Bob, he wants in. When their first task is sexy cooking, Teddy includes himself in the festivities and says, "we." It's a bit odd to do since it's meant to be sexy and romantic.

Spray Paints His Entire Apartment

In one of the many Halloween episodes of Bob's Burgers, Teddy has a party for his acquaintances. Teddy decides to go all out on decorations and goes as far as spray painting his entire apartment. Talk about dedication.

He keeps with the orange and black theme of his costume and translates it to everything in his apartment. He also sprays paints his guinea pig. There is so much paint he can't open the windows to let it air out.

The Monkey Video

When Bob realizes that having free wifi for the customers will bring in business, he gives it a go. Sadly, it has its downside when Teddy doesn't understand what's appropriate in a food environment. Teddy isn't as hip with the younger customers when it comes to the internet.

Imagine Teddy being your dad just learning about Facebook and funny videos on Youtube. In this bizarre moment, Teddy shouts at Bob to watch a funny video. The video involves a monkey sticking his finger you know where and smelling it. It's not an appetizing image when in a restaurant.

Smells Jimmy Pesto's Underwear

Fans aren't strangers to Bob and Jimmy Pesto's rivalry in the show. Teddy is always a good friend when it comes to Bob and finds a way to help him when he loses his burger flipping mojo.

There's an old baseball lore to help a player focus during the game. The trick? Wear someone else's underwear to get your mind off whats going wrong. Teddy manages to bribe Jimmy's bartender for a pair of his underwear. Not too weird until Teddy smells them to see if they're used.

Dresses Up A Santa To Sleep

It's Valentine's Day in this episode and Linda is a bit in the dumps with Bob's usual romantic routine. To change things up a bit while he's away, she hosts a speed dating event in the restaurant. It turns out to be a complete disaster. Cue in Teddy who blurts out a bizarre fact about himself.

While everyone is saying their worst fact about themselves, Teddy decides to let one loose. He admits to having to dress up as Santa Clause every night because it's the only way he can sleep. Somehow it doesn't faze his speed date partner.

Teddy Eats Anything

Bob offers a sponge to Teddy

Teddy's favorite food group involves anything with grease, a burger or just about anything. In the episode "Synchronized Swimming", Bob gets a semi-new ice cream machine. The first cup isn't so good, but Teddy could care less. He gulps it down and Bob accuses him of eating anything in front of him.

Teddy is in denial and to prove his point, Bob gives him something to eat. Without thinking twice, Teddy eats it. Bob shows him that he was more than willing to eat a piece of a dirty sponge.

Bug Face

Early on in the show's first season, Linda hosts a Bed & Breakfast, which no one is happy about. As things turn disastrous, Teddy becomes a guest and steals Louise's room. Huge mistake. To get him to leave, Louise sprays his pillow with bug pheromones.

The next day, Teddy is in the living room covered in bugs. The bizarre thing? He doesn't seem to mind at all. He is cool as a cucumber as more than ten beatles are suctioned and crawling on his face. A grossed out chill runs throughout your entire body at the thought of it.

Pretends To Be Married To Linda

Taking the first spot in Teddy's most bizarre moments is when he accidentally gets trapped inside the restaurant. The Belcher's are away on a road trip in a limo and Teddy is working on a repair inside. Teddy has a whacky idea that turns a bit weird. He pretends to be Bob and is married to Linda.

He monologues as Bob and pretends that Linda has an attraction to Teddy and that he sees the churning attraction between them. Later on, he creates a monologue between himself and Bob and says, " Thanks for not being mad that me and Linda are getting married." It's a bizarre thing to imagine about your best friend's wife.
