Fox's animated comedy Bob's Burgers gets renewed for season 11, premiering this fall. The hit series featuring the carnivorous Belcher clan has been a mainstay during Fox's Sunday night lineup, but as productions have stopped on many major television shows and movies, it's been difficult to gauge exactly which shows will be returning and which will remain on an indefinite hiatus. Thankfully Bob and his family will be returning to make us all laugh once again.

Bob's Burgers, which debuted on Fox in January 2011, became an acquired taste with audiences looking for shows mixing in family drama, quirky characters and plot lines that could potentially stand alone as issues outside of the animated realm. With this in mind, the series has gone on to amass quite a following with many people tuning in to watch patriarch Bob, his ride or die wife Linda and their three kooky kids - Tina, Gene and Louise - as they embark on multiple adventures. But to its credit, the characters of Bob's Burgers always come together in times of crisis and learn valuable lessons by the end of each episode. It is this same formula that has earned Bob's Burgers many accolades in the form of adoring fans who continuously tune in for another huge serving of laughter, love and a little bit of lunacy. And it's not just about the fan love either, as the series has been nominated for many awards, including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program, which it has won twice.

Now as the fates of many productions loom overhead, Fox has announced that Bob's Burgers will be returning for season 11 this fall. Fox announced its upcoming Fall 2020 lineup and Bob's Burgers made the cut for another season. Bob's Burgers season 11 will air Sundays at 9pm on the network, maintaining the same time slot it currently occupies. Fox also reminded everyone exactly why the show would be returning by offering its own praise.

In addition to its 2019 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Animated Program, the series has been nominated in the same category in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, having won the award twice, its first Emmy Award in 2014 and in 2017. The series also recently was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award and an Annie Award.

Returning along with the series will be its talented voice cast including H. Jon Benjamin, whose voice has been heard for many years as secret agent Sterling Archer on FX's hilariously inappropriate Archer. He's also lent his voice to various other animated series, including reprising his role as Bob Belcher on an episode of The Simpsons in 2018. Also returning to flesh out the rest of the main cast are John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy and Kristen Schaal who voices the lovably psychotic Louise Belcher.

No word yet on the exact premiere date for the new season of Bob's Burgers, however the series will be returning with the rest of Fox's Sunday night lineup including Family Guy and The Simpsons, which will be entering its historic 32nd season this fall.
