Bob's Burgers is one of the best animated shows on the air right now and a big reason for this is the lovable and outrageous characters in the show. The main characters are the Belcher family (Bob, Linda, Tina, Gene, and Louise) and the story follows their antics as they run their own restaurant.

One of those characters is Aunt Gayle, sister to Linda, is the resident "crazy cat lady" of the show. Gayle has some outrageous lines involving her cats, let's revisit some of the most outlandish and hilarious ones!

"The good news is the cat is going to be fine. He just has to wear goggles so it doesn't happen again."

Aunt Gayle was going to take Tina and Louise to a Boyz 4 Now boyband concert, but she had to cancel on them to take her cat to the vet. Tina asks why and Gayle says she was startled and accidentally pepper-sprayed him. Tina and Louise go to the concert themselves and are left on the side of the road by the band after sneaking onto their tour bus.

They call Gayle and she picks them up with the cat in the car, wearing goggles. She tells the girls the cat is fine but has to (presumably permanently) wear goggles so she never accidentally pepper sprays him again.

"Hm, no, not that one, I would take it though."

In a newer episode of Bob's Burgers, the first scene has a man come into the restaurant and give the Belchers a lost cat flyer. Louise and Gene desperately try to find the cat and get the reward money throughout the episode, and their first stop is their Aunt Gayle.

Louise asks Gayle if she took the cat, and Gayle hesitates as she studies the flyer. She eventually responds no but adds a cat lady confession that she would definitely take it if given the chance.

"Little cat, you're just like me. You go outside and squat to pee."

This episode sees Louise run away from home after a visit to the dentist, Dr. Yap, reveals she needs a cavity filled. After her plan to use her dad's credit card for a hotel fails, the only place she can run to is her Aunt Gayle's. Linda bets that Louise can't spend the weekend with Gayle without losing her mind and running back home.

If Louise can stay the weekend she doesn't have to get the cavity filled, but if she can't she'll have to, but obviously she needs the cavity filled so Linda plans to bring out every annoying aspect of Gayle, including her poetry. The quote above is part of Aunt Gayle's cat-themed poetry and it's just as chaotic as you would have expected!

"You remember the cats."

Louise runs to Aunt Gayle's house to avoid the dentist and having to get a cavity filled. Gayle answers the door and sees Louise standing outside and says she's glad it's her niece and not a murderer.

When Gayle lets Louise in she says, "you remember the cats" as the cats are jumping about. It has the same ring as a parent introducing their children, and anyone who has a furbaby living with them would probably say the same!

"It was so sad, he was just sitting there on someone's porch in the sun."

This episode sees Thanksgiving at the Belchers as Aunt Gayle stays with them with her three cats. Bob wonders aloud how many cats Gayle has because he swears it was just one, but now she has three.

Linda says that she had the one, adopted another, and found one on the way over to their house and says Gayle's a cat magnet. Gayle responds with this line suggesting that she stole a cat off of someone's front porch and brought it home with her, which is undeniably a crazy cat lady move.

"My cat. We got in a fight. Can I stay here for a while to cool off?"

This episode sees Louise trying to get away with yet another paper-mâché volcano for her science project, but her plan is foiled by a substitute science teacher. The teacher is obsessed with Thomas Edison so he assigns her the topic of Edison for her project.

To get revenge she finds out about a controversial topic in Edison's past and has her Aunt Gayle (who happened to be in a fight with her cat at the time) and Mr. Fishoeder sing a song at her project about Topsy the elephant. Earlier in the episode we see Gayle deliver this line to Linda and it's classic cat lady.

"Eat, drink, and be meowy!"

This episode sees the Belcher kids trying to win over their Aunt Gayle's affection. They've all been grounded, but their parents agree one of them can go out with their Aunt so she's not alone after her date canceled on her. The kids come up with different stories that star Gayle in an attempt to win the night out.

In the Game of Thrones-themed story, we see Gayle as a Daenerys type character who has three dragons, but they are half dragon half-cat creations as are the horses in the tale. After she saves the kingdom she triumphantly comes back and announces this cat-themed quote before the feast.

"Your tongue feels so much different than my cat's."

This episode sees Bob at the dentist's office having to be drugged for surgery. Gayle offers to pick Bob up from the dentist so Linda doesn't have to close the restaurant. The hazy Bob doesn't realize it's Gayle that's picking him up and he starts to get a little frisky, even starting to make out with her.

The oblivious Gayle thinks Bob actually wants to be with her, and when he starts sloppily kissing her face she responds with this cat-centric line.

"Now that I made them all pretty, the pound will have to give me that fourth cat."

Again from the episode where Louise runs away from the dentist, Gayle has the kids help put on new springtime pastel decorative nails for her cats.

This is a quintessential crazy cat lady quote. Gayle already has three cats, presumably from the pound and we know she's taken at least one of her cats, but she feels the need to have more cats in her house. The quote also suggests that she's tried to get another cat, but people at the pound recognize her and have refused to let her take another cat home.

"My cat was right about you."

It's a known wise tale that dogs can tell if people are inherently good or evil if your dog hates that guy maybe think twice, but for Aunt Gayle it's up to her cats to do the judging. This episode sees Linda get her high school girl band back together for their reunion and Gayle is part of the group.

When Linda picks her up, Gayle has a sense that her cat, Mr. Business, is signaling that she shouldn't go with them, but she doesn't listen and goes with them anyway as long as Linda promises to let her sing her own songs. Linda goes back on the promise, and Gayle delivers this line in dramatic fashion.
