Spoilers for Blue Beetle: Graduation Day #1 by DC ComicsWhile Blue Beetle and Iron Man are both armored heroes in their respective universes, Jaime Reyes just proved why his supersuit is even better than the Marvel Comics hero: He is the suit. In Blue Beetle: Graduation Day #1 by DC Comics, Blue Beetle suits up in his scarab-powered armor. With the suit being connected inside him and possessing incredible powers, the DC hero shows why his alien tech has the edge over Tony Stark's handmade suits.

While Blue Beetle is a legacy hero in the DC Universe, as he shares a name with the original Golden Age version of the hero Dan Garrett and his powerless successor Justice League hero Ted Kord, the hero's armor and powers are unique to anyone using the moniker. Jaime Reyes gained his powers when a scarab bonded with his skeleton and gave him a powerful armor that formed around his body, giving him a wide array of powers. Ultimately, Blue Beetle's armor is better than even Iron Man's exoskeleton suits, as it's much more effective for the hero.

In Blue Beetle: Graduation Day #1 by Josh Trujillo, Adrian Gutierrez, Wil Quintana, and Lucas Gattoni from DC Comics, Jaime Reyes faces off against a magical villain named Fadeaway, whose costume appears to grant him powers. However, Blue Beetle quickly points out the biggest difference between him and the villain - and other heroes: the suit is a part of his being as he's connected to his powers and armor through the Scarab.

The Different In Tech Heavily Favors Blue Beetle's Armor To Iron Man's

Even with Iron Man inside his Bleeding Edge armor, the closest suit he has to Blue Beetle's as it emerges from his skin, Jaime Reyes's cosmic armor is far more impressive and capable than Tony Stark's. The Khaji Da, the scarab Blue Beetle is bonded with, is derived from Reach technology and makes Reyes one of the strongest heroes - even if he's relatively inexperienced. Iron Man's tech is cutting edge and impressive, but compared to the alien technology Reyes possesses, it's not particularly close to which armor is more powerful.

Blue Beetle is his suit, as the alien scarab grants him incredible powers that Iron Man can't match or recreate - at least without a tremendous amount of prep time and research, and even then, it might not be able to be replicated. So, while Iron Man might be the more intelligent and more inventive hero, Blue Beetle trumps Tony Stark when it comes to his suit because it's literally a part of him and capable of even more incredible feats of power. Blue Beetle: Graduation Day #1 by DC Comics is in comic book stores now.
