A fan-made preview of Bloodborne runs at 60 frames per second in 4K resolution to show fans what the game could look like if it gets remastered for the PlayStation 5. Recent rumors say that Bloodborne is one of many games the shortlist to be remastered for the new console, but there hasn't been any confirmation of that yet. This video may give players a good idea what such a project might look like, though.

Bloodborne is widely considered to be one of the best FromSoftware games, despite being wildly different from its predecessor, Dark Souls. Like all the games in FromSoftware's recent catalog, the game's main draw is its focus on extremely deadly bosses. Bloodborne has remained a beloved game since its release in 2015, which means that it would probably do well if it were remastered for Sony's next generation.

A video posted on YouTube by SnazzyAI shows what players could expect from a remastered version of Bloodborne. The video shows small clips of different areas of the game with various camera angles that reveal its new visuals and frame rate. The world itself looks much more detailed in 4K, and character movements are far smoother and streamlined than they were before. The largest noticeable difference here  is the lack of the frame rate drops that plague Bloodborne throughout its run on PS4, which can be an issue in all of FromSoftware's titles.

This video is not an official preview for a remaster of Bloodborne, but it may be the closest that players get for a while. A few weeks ago, a French retailer may have accidentally leaked Bloodborne Remastered by including it on a list of upcoming PlayStation 5 games. This leak seemed to indicate that Bloodborne would be coming to PC for the first time as well. Considering that gamers will be getting a remake of the cult classic Demon's Souls soon, it wouldn't be too far of a stretch for a Bloodborne remaster.

Whether or not a remaster of Bloodborne is in the works, it is still  fun to see the game rendered on more modern hardware. Bloodborne was already a beautiful title, but it did suffer from several graphical hiccups that stopped it from being a perfect experience. Maybe these rumors will ignite a fire that inspires FromSoftware to finally give players the perfect version of Bloodborne possible.
