New crossover art perfectly marries the polar aesthetics of Disney and Bloodborne, creating an image that looks a lot like a dark take on Kingdom Hearts. FromSoftware and Sony originally released Bloodborne approximately six years ago, and still it remains a fan-favorite phenomenon, even for the popular Soulsborne series. Though it's clear a proper sequel won't soon hit store shelves anytime soon, fans are at least hoping for a 60FPS patch on PlayStation 5.

Not too long ago, Kingdom Hearts returned after a long drought of its own in the mainline series. Kingdom Hearts II released in late 2005, but Kingdom Hearts III didn't launch until 2019. Fortunately, Square Enix found ways to make up for lost time with post-launch DLC. The title's ReMind DLC introduced additional story content, a secret episode, and more for fans to sink their teeth into. Now fans of both Bloodborne and Kingdom Hearts (however large or small that subset may be) can feast their eyes on something familiar but altogether different.

DeviantArt user 0-Emme-0 shared their imagining of a Disney and Bloodborne crossover. The stunning art depicts famous Disney Characters Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, and others in Bloodborne's eerie Yharnam setting. All three don the garb of Hunters, equipped with weapons like blades and the Saw Cleaver. The artist's use of blues and purples is especially inventive, maintaining the boldness of Disney art while simultaneously capturing the haunted tone that imbues the FromSoftware masterpiece.

The imagery seems to perfectly exemplify how Disney and Bloodborne work well with almost anything, even when mashed together in an unlikely crossover. Most recently, a fan took it upon themselves to drop live-action characters in the world of Yharnam with a cleverly drawn and cleverly written Bloodborne/Frasier crossover comic. Aptly dubbed Craneborne, the comic in question planted characters Frasier and Niles on the path of a Hunter. Frasier fans evidently aren't the only ones with the Blood Moon on their mind lately.

While fans keep their fingers crossed for a Bloodborne follow-up, FromSoftware currently has its hands full with its current known project, Elden Ring. The title, made in conjunction with Game of Thrones novelist George R.R. Martin, was officially announced back at E3 2019. Information has since surfaced bit by bit. Unfortunately, barring rumors and conjecture, there's no word as to when official details will surface. For now, the mystery surrounding Elden Ring continues.
