Kane Lim won over the hearts of many after starring in Bling Empire season 1, but it turns out Kane has a connection to another Netflix show with his job as an agent for Selling Sunset's The Oppenheim Group. Fans of Bling Empire and Selling Sunset have noticed similarities between the shows since Bling Empire premiered in early 2021. Besides flaunting their wealth with flashy clothes, cars, and houses, both casts have a knack for seamlessly blending their personal and professional lives. In addition, Bling Empire and Selling Sunset both do a great job showcasing natural storylines, which is why the reality shows have become such major hits.

While Kane doesn't appear on Selling Sunset, the 31-year-old shot to fame as a fan favorite on Bling Empire. As the first Netflix reality show exclusively centered around East Asians and East Asian-Americans, Bling Empire documents the lives of uber-rich Los Angeles socialites. Between glamorous parties, elaborate dinners, and decked-out homes, the show does not shy away from providing the drama reality TV fans are looking for. Kane's appearance on Bling Empire season 1 was received positively by fans who appreciated his fun personality and honest interactions with the rest of the cast.

It may come as a surprise that Kane works as a real estate agent with The Oppenheim Group; however, his family, who is worth billions of dollars, has made their fortune investing in oil, real estate, and shopping malls in Asia. According to Kane's biography on The Oppenheim Group website, Kane gained experience as an agent in his native Singapore before moving to the United States in 2014. Besides focusing on residential and commercial buildings in Asia, Kane has set his sights on the Venice Beach area, where he recently sold three luxury properties. When Kane isn't busy enjoying Los Angeles or working with The Oppenheim Group brokerage, he likes to travel, try different cuisines and the latest fashion trends.

While Kane's position as an Oppenheim Group realtor has recently become a hot topic, Kane has been with the brokerage for at least a few months. On March 19, Kane shared on Instagram that he was co-listing an L.A. property with a fellow realtor and Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause. Showcasing the almost $2 million mansions with a three-minute video, Chrishell and Kane are not only entertaining together, but Kane was able to show off his realtor skills. A quick look through Kane's Instagram shows that the star has been mentioning his connection to Selling Sunset as early as August 2021, so Kane may have been working for the Oppenheim Group even longer.

Now that Kane's connection to Selling Sunset has started making waves online, fans of Selling Sunset and Bling Empire are crossing their fingers for a crossover. Season 5, which concluded with Selling Sunset's first reunion on May 6, was full of conflict, with the on-screen Oppenheim Group showcasing Christine Quinn against co-stars Chrishell, Emma Hernan, and Mary Fitzgerald. While fans eagerly await Selling Sunset season 6, Bling Empire season 2's premiere is coming up on May 13. Kane is about to appear on television once more, and now that Christine has officially quit the brokerage, maybe Kane will end up replacing Christine as Selling Sunset's newest star.
