The Netflix show Bling Empire is seriously entertaining. This new reality series has all the trappings of delicious drama that quarantined reality fans could ever desire. From real-life emotional trauma to silly penis pump mishaps, this cast of L.A.'s ultra-rich Asian and Asian-American friends keeps our eyes popping. Bouncing from party to party, Kevin Kreider, Kelly Mi Li, Kane Lim, Christine Chiu, Kim Lee, Jaime Xie, Cherie Chan, and the one-and-only Anna Shay get into each other's business and judge each other for just about everything. This is particularly true when it comes to their looks.

At Cherie's son's 100 Day party, the cast challenges Anna's French friend Florent (who works at Boucheron, a high jewelry house in Paris) to spot the fake jewels at their table. Florent spots them on Kelly, but Kelly is unashamed. She says she sees "no shame in it whatsoever!" and will always admit when something is real or fake. Then there's Christine and her many, many wigs. It seems she has a new wig in every scene. According to Christine, she has a "passion" for wigs that stems from her desire to "take on a few personalities here and there" while maintaining her identity. As for what's under Christine's wig? She's bald. And then there's Kevin. Kevin is constantly ridiculed for his less-expensive wardrobe. It's a friendly teasing, of course. Besides, it would be silly for Kevin to spend much on his threads. The way that boy manages to take his clothes off as often as humanly possible? We wouldn't invest in them either.

But none of the cast bared the brunt of public teasing for the looks quite as much as Anna. Now, Anna, despite her dreadful hair, emerged from Bling Empire as the Queen of Reality TV. So it is with great deference that we say... her hair needs help. As Guy and Kim were snooping through Anna's house and discovering the infamous penis pump, Guy said he wanted to check out the bathroom in order to figure out which shampoo Anna was using because she needed to change it. The cast talked about Anna's stringy extensions more often than they should have, given that those terrible tresses were more often than not overshadowed by some "blinging" diamonds or jewels around her neck. As yet, no one has told her to visit the salon. Anna is a 60-year-old heiress who's got a real way with words and she said later in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she wishes someone had told her to change her hair before they even started filming.

The good news is that since the show premiered, Anna has changed it up. She's gotten rid of the blonde extensions and dyed her hair a darker red. Perhaps she will change it up again should we ever get Bling Empire season 2. Sadly, Netflix has still yet to renew its smash hit for another season, but the cast is certainly hopeful.

The Bling Empire alums all say they would love to shoot another season of their antics in... Asia! Of course! Ultra-rich Kane Lim wants to fly the cast to Singapore to show them what the city is truly about, beyond the glitz and glam. Kevin wants to go to Korea and explore his roots. Kelly says it would be awesome to visit all their hometowns and get to know each other on a deeper level.
