Warning: Potential Spoilers for Bachelor In Paradise Season 6

Former The Bachelorette contestant and nice-guy Blake Horstmann may turn out to be Bachelor In Paradise Season 6's biggest villain. Despite being a fan-favorite and well-known softie who wasn't afraid to express his emotions on the show, Horstmann could shock fans when his time in Mexico this summer finally airs. Last Warning: spoilers ahead.

Horstmann first appeared on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette in May 2018. He and Kufrin had a strong connection and surprised fans as he ended up being the runner-up that season, losing the final rose to Garrett Yrigoyen. Bachelor Nation watched as Horstmann's heart was broken and many fans disagreed with Kufrin's choice. The fans who were upset with the outcome of The Bachelorette are excited at the prospects of Horstmann to have a second chance at love on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise. Although fan-favorite Horstmann was adored because of wearing his heart on his sleeve, according to recent reports his nice-guy persona might change this summer.

It sounds like Horstmann gets in over his head this season of Bachelor in Paradise — Bachelor spinoff where former contestants spend a summer at a resort in Mexico and go on dates in between margaritas, which is currently filming in Sayulita, Mexico (and be airing this August). According to reality TV blogger Steve Carbone for Reality Steve, Horstmann gets into a love triangle (more like a love pentagon) with contestants Kristina Shulman, Tayshia Adams, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, and Hannah Godwin.

On day one, Horstmann reportedly gets the first "Date Card," giving him the ability to ask out anyone at the resort. Per Carbone, he asks Adams on a date, who appeared on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor, but when Shulman arrives on day two and asks Horstmann out, he says yes — and, naturally, drama ensues

Blake Horstmann- Bachelor In Paradise

"Either when Blake is on his date with Kristina or when he returns, that's when the sh-t hits the fan," Carbone writes. Horstmann and Shulman, who was on Nick Viall's season, previously had a "fling," the former The Bachelorette star said on the web series The Morning Toast, before meeting again in Mexico.

Turns out, Horstmann has a history with most of the women he gets involved with on Bachelor in Paradise. Earlier this year, at the Stagecoach music festival in Indio, California, Horstmann allegedly slid into Adams' DMs on Instagram. Although according to Carbone it "wasn't a date" per se, the pair ended up hanging out. Later, on the second night of the festival, Horstmann supposedly hooked up with Miller-Keyes, who also appeared on Underwood's season.

To complicate matters even further, Horstmann allegedly slept with Shulman the night after he slept with Miller-Keyes. Plus, he also allegedly flew to Birmingham, Alabama, to visit Goodwin a few weeks before they began filming in Mexico. While this might all seem a little over-the-top, Carbone is a trusted reality TV source - especially when it comes to Bachelor Nation.

This is a much different picture than what The Bachelorette painted of Horstmann in the past - aka the softie who broke down when Kufrin sent him home and shared his feelings in a heartfelt and heavy Instagram post afterward.

Reality Steve teases that the stories about Horstmann are just the tip of the iceberg - and that there are supposedly more women in Bachelor Nation who he's played. Fans still have over a month to wait but, after The Bachelorette season 15 made elimination history, expectations are higher-than-ever for what's to come in Paradise.
