Black Widow is a fierce warrior. She has beaten everyone from Captain America and Iron Man to Winter Soldier to Elektra, and more. She has more than just one fighting skill, as she has a long history of training, making her one of the world’s most dangerous individuals, whether she is facing another spy, a superhero, or a room full of assassins.

Espionage

Black Widow comes into any fight more prepared than anyone in the room. She is a master at espionage, the most devious spy in the world. When she enters a fight, she almost always does a lot of homework ahead of time and learns every weakness her opponents possess.

If Black Widow often pretends to be at a disadvantage before throwing a wrench into her enemy’s plans and turning the tables thanks to her preparation. While not a fighting skill, it is her expertise in espionage that increases her other fighting skills.

Master of Disguise

One of the key ways that Black Widow gets in position to attack comes from her ability to be a master of disguise. Black Widow proved this in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where she uses tech that allows her to use the face of anyone she desires, and then she takes on their movements and mannerisms as well.

By taking advantage of this skill, Black Widow can get into position for a sneak attack, and this gives her a powerful advantage of surprise when heading into any fight.

Master Acrobat

Black Widow is a master acrobat, thanks to her training in the Black Widow Ops Program in the Red Room. She uses this training to outmaneuver anyone in a fight and keep the advantage, especially when she is battling someone stronger yet slower than her.

She also uses these skills, including gymnastics and acrobatics, to avoid attacks, whether she is avoiding weapon-based attacks or using them to escape explosions or blunt force attacks. This fighting skill does no damage but keeps her in a fight long enough to win.

Healing Factor

These deliver up to 30,000 volts of energy blasts that she can control the power of. She can knock someone out with one or even kill her enemies.

What makes Black Widow deadliest in a fight, more so than any use of a weapon or martial arts skill, is her training as an assassin. While most heroes have a no-kill code, Black Widow sometimes knows dead is better for shutting an enemy down. In the Red Room, and later S.H.I.E.L.D., Black Widow learned many ways to kill an opponent, and she uses it when necessary to win the biggest fights.

She showed this in horrific detail in The Ultimates when Black Widow ended up a double-agent and murdered Hawkeye’s entire family to ensure victory.
