The global pandemic has interrupted many aspects of life and one of which is the movie industry. Not just in terms of release dates, either, but some of the biggest theatre chains have had to close their doors for good. In addition, multiple movies and TV shows have had to push filming, or filming has become more time-consuming, for appropriate precautions to be taken.

With filming being pushed back, it also impacts actors' availability. If filming has had to be delayed, and an actor already has another commitment for those dates, the schedules will need to be reworked again. Many films have had to be pushed back once as a result, but some films, such as Marvel Studios' Black Widow and the murder mystery Death On The Nile, have had to be delayed more than once.

The Black Widow is just one of the many Disney movies that were delayed. It was originally set for release on May 11th 2020, then November 6th, 2020, then May 7th, 2021 before settling on July 9th, 2021 both in theatres and on Disney+ with premier access.
