New trading cards of Marvel's Black Widow show off a new detailed look at Yelena Belova's costume. Yelena, played by Florence Pugh, may be a new character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but she has a long history in the comics. Belova first appeared in Inhumans #5 back in 1999 and had a similar upbringing as Natasha Romanoff. Like Romanoff, she was trained to be a lethal spy in the Red Room and eventually worked for both the Russian Federation and S.H.I.E.L.D.

Yelena is one character from Black Widow's past they are introducing in her solo movie, but there are several other characters being introduced that have ties to her comic book history. Stranger Things star David Harbour is playing Alexei Shostakov (aka Red Guardian), who is essentially the Russian Captain America, minus the superpowers. Rounding out Black Widow's "family" is Melina Vostokoff (played by Rachel Weisz), who turned into the villain Iron Maiden in the comic books. With the release of the film only a few months away, fans have gotten plenty of trailers and posters for Black Widow to get a good idea of what the characters will look like. Now fans just got another sneak peek at Belova's costume.

Comicbook recently shared an image of a Yelena Belova trading card that was a part of a new batch of cards from Topps. Belova is seen wearing one of the white uniforms that are seen in the Black Widow trailers, as well as a green vest that is identical to the one Black Widow wore in Avengers: Infinity War. The Topps trading card can be seen below:

Fans are no doubt excited to see new heroes, and the villain Taskmaster, be introduced to the MCU, but many are also hoping to see the return of some familiar faces. Robert Downey Jr. is rumored to be returning as Iron Man, which would be possible since Black Widow takes place in between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Samuel L. Jackson is also rumored to be coming back as Nick Fury, but the most likely cameo fans might get is from Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye. It's no secret that Clint and Natasha have a history, and Black Widow seems like the perfect time to finally explain what really happened on their Budapest mission.

When it comes to costume designs, the wardrobe department working on the MCU has always been on point. They've found a way to bring popular comic book characters to the big screen with modern costumes, while still honoring their look in the comics. Yelena Belova's costume has always been similar to Natasha's since Yelena eventually becomes Black Widow in the comics, so it makes sense why the two character's costumes would look so similar in Black Widow
