New Black Widow images give a detailed look at Taskmaster's tank, as well as new glimpses of Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh). Fans have waited a long time for Natasha to get her own solo film, but her road to the big screen hasn't been easy. As the first film in the MCU's Phase 4, Black Widow was slated to arrive in May of this year. However, the coronavirus pandemic delayed the film to November, where it has resided since then. Sadly, though, it seems likely that Black Widow will be delayed at least once more.

In the meantime, fans can continue to pore over what they already know about Black Widow. Set in between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity WarBlack Widow will explore what happened to Natasha before she joined Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and his secret Avengers. Natasha will revisit her Russian roots as she aims to destroy the Red Room program that trained her to be an assassin. Of course, she can't take it on alone, which leads her back to her former family. All of them will come together to stop the mysterious Taskmaster, a villain with the ability to mimic the fighting moves of everyone he watches.

As fans continue to wait for Black Widow's arrival, they've been treated to three new images from the movie, courtesy of Total Film (via Collider). Not only do they show Natasha and her pseudo-sister Yelena in action, the third offers a new look at Taskmaster's tank, which was shown in the trailers as the Red Room leader hunts Natasha. When compared to the cars around it, it's clear Taskmaster has some serious firepower behind him. Check out the images down below.

Taskmaster's identity has been a source of great interest in the lead-up to Black Widow. So far, Marvel hasn't shared who is playing the character, leaving the face under the mask to be a big mystery. Fans certainly have their ideas about who he is, but it's likely Taskmaster won't be unveiled until Black Widow is actually released in theaters.

In addition to the Taskmaster mystery, Yelena is another intriguing figure within Black Widow. With Natasha having died in Avengers: Endgame, the MCU's future is currently without a Black Widow. However, many have speculated that Yelena could take over for Natasha going forward, and director Cate Shortland has hinted Black Widow will see Natasha pass the baton to Yelena, so to speak. It's no wonder that she's prominently featured in this images, as she looks to play a vital role in the film itself. Hopefully, it won't be much longer before fans can see it for themselves.
