A new Black Widow clip shows Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) on the run from other Black Widows. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have waited a long time to finally see a solo movie for Scarlett Johansson's super spy. Although she died in Avengers: Endgame, the solo film will be a prequel that fills in Natasha's life after Captain America: Civil War. It will also introduce several new characters to the MCU who could have recurring roles in the shared universe.

When Black Widow was first announced, it was scheduled to be the first property released by Marvel Studios in Phase 4. Due to COVID-19 shutting down theaters for months and a hesitation to debut the movie only on Disney+, Black Widow was delayed multiple times. The movie has had one of the longest marketing campaigns as a result of all these release date changes. Now that it is confirmed to come out on July 9, 2021 in theaters and on Disney+ via Premier Access, Marvel Studios is approaching the final legs of this prolonged marketing campaign.

The latest part of Black Widow's marketing comes in the form of a new clip from the movie. The scene was released by Fandango in conjunction with the announcement that tickets are now on sale. The Black Widow clip shows Natasha and Yelena as they are ambushed by a group of Black Widows, forcing them to try and escape from Yelena's apartment. The action-packed scene gives a more complete look at moments previously seen in the trailers.

This is the latest Black Widow clip released by Marvel Studios. A previous one showed Yelena mocking Natasha's superhero landing, and another brought Natasha's Russian family together again. Now that the movie is less than a month away from releasing, more clips are sure to arrive so Marvel can continuing marketing the upcoming blockbuster. However, they are in a bit of a tricky situation. The high volume of trailers and clips already released has given fans plenty of looks at Black Widow. Marvel has to find compelling and exciting clips to show without getting into anything that could spoil the movie itself.

As for this most recent Black Widow clip, it does provide fans with another great look at the film's action. The movie has repeatedly been compared to Captain America: The Winter Soldier due to its tone and action, and the more grounded action here shows why. It also continues to tease the differences between Yelena and Natasha, as Natasha acted to save the pursuing Black Widow. Some fans might even have Avengers: Endgame flashbacks to Natasha's death as they watch a Black Widow plummet to the ground.
