Warning! Spoilers for Black Widow #12 by Marvel Comics

Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Yelena Belova are investigating a new high society group that's threatening their city. The hero's decided to wear some stunning formal costumes while going undercover, including Natasha Romanoff sporting an amazing widow-like fascinator and Clint Barton wearing a high-fashion archer tabard. The group of heroes has rarely looked better than they do in the adventure in Black Widow #12 by Marvel Comics.

Black Widow was forced to give up her husband and son to protect them from dangerous threats in her current ongoing series. Natasha has struggled to adapt to life without them and is stuck around in San Francisco with Yelena Belova, Anya Corazon, and Lucy Nguyen. With her new team (and Hawkeye and Winter Solider), they end up going to the Golden Gate Gala - an annual benefit to raise money for endangered animals. Black Widow and co.'s mission is to learn more about a new dangerous high society. So, when they arrive at the gala, they need to fit in - and fit in, they do.

In Black Widow #12 by Kelly Thomspon, Elena Casagrande, Elisabetta D'Amico, Jordie Bellaire, and VC's Cory Petit, the six heroes arrive at the Golden Gate Gala, where Natasha wears a stunning dress, with an appropriate window-like fascinator. Meanwhile, Clint Barton doesn't shy away from his archer background, as he sports a high-fashion tabard. All in all, the heroes look absolutely fabulous. As Nat, Clint, Bucky, and Yelena scout out the dancefloor, Anya and Lucy discover the high society auctioning off exotic animals in secret.

Black Widow and Yelena ditch their high-fashion costumes for their familiar superhero outfits and investigate the auction. The pair of widows end up fighting against a large group of animal-mask-wearing society members, before running into the Living Blade. Natasha seems stunned to meet the new villain after Yelena initially dismisses the name as a myth. However, the Living Blade is very real, as the comic ends with a flashback of Black Widow encountering him in Madripoor.

While Black Widow didn't get to wear her stunning new formal outfit for a particularly long time, there's little doubt she absolutely nailed the look. Clint didn't look too bad either. The art team on Black Widow #12 of Casagrande, D'Amico, and Bellaire knocked the ensembles out of the park. Black Widow and Hawkeye's high fashion looks were completely unique and gorgeous. It's too bad they only wore them for such a short period of time - but we're glad they got the chance to debut the looks. Black Widow #12 is in comic book stores now.
