Additionally, Black Widow 2099's costume can be seen in action in unlettered preview pages from Miracolo and Jesus Aburtov, as she chases Spider-Man 2099 throughout Nueva York. The preview features a confrontation between Black Widow 2099 and Hawkeye 2099, as the new character attacks him, nearly blowing him up with a bomb before Miguel arrives on the scene and saves Hawkeye in the nick of time. Marvel's variant cover for the issue by Ken Lashley features Black Widow 2099 and Spider-Man 2099 together, as it's unclear whether they will be friends or foes in the issue.

The red and black costume, with its long cape, finally gives Black Widow a costume that is less tactical and practical and more something you'd expect a superhero to wear. Black Widow 2099's real identity remains a mystery, but her new suit and the upcoming chaos she will cause hint the hero is about to make an explosive debut. Readers can see Black Widow 2099 debut as Spider-Man 2099: Exodus by Steve Orlando, Alessandra Miracolo, and Jesus Aburtov arrives in comic book stores on July 14, 2022.
