Marvel Studios opens 2018 with a brand new Black Panther promotional photo featuring Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia and Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa. 2018 is set to be a huge year for the film company, marking their 10th year anniversary since they started the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2008 via Iron Man. Now, the studio is a major force in Hollywood and they are preparing to celebrate their monumental milestone with three projects: Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man And The Wasp and the Ryan Coogler-directed flick.

Black Panther is set to reunite Marvel fans with one of the franchise's newest superhero additions and Captain America: Civil War standout, Chadwick Boseman. Given the limited screen time that he got from that ensemble flick, he quickly drew the attention of fans, hyping us up for his eventual solo outing. His effective introduction in Civil War paid off big time, as the project is tracking to be the film series' biggest box office opening in terms of solo outings.

The new stylish image has come courtesy of Marvel Studios' official Instagram which is posted as the account's celebratory photo to welcome the New Year with a huge bang -- very apt, considering that the film will formally open MCU's monumental year. Featuring T'Challa and Nakia, the two are both dressed to the nines for what appears to be a formal outing. However, we can expect that whatever it is in that setting will most likely won't just be for a night of wining and dining. Check the photo below:

Based on what we know from the big spectacles that Black Panther has in store for Marvel fans this year, the scene is from the major sequence supposedly in South Korea where T'Challa, with the help of the Dora Milaje, are trying to track down Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis). We're not entirely sure if it's directly connected to the scene where we saw the antagonist in an interrogation room with Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) as he divulges the secrets of Wakanda. Whatever it is, the scene where we see T'Challa and Nakia both in their most glamorous attire is part of the casino action sequence that leads to the high-speed car/Panther chase that we have seen in the trailers for the film.

Chances are, the aforementioned scene will be in the earlier acts of the movie -- one that would present T'Challa a nationwide crisis about whether to come forward on the bigger global stage and come clean about the hidden treasures of Wakanda or not. This puts the country's new king in a very difficult situation as he tries to navigate his way in such a critical situation. While the movie does have antagonists such as Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) and M'Baku (Winston Duke),  Klaue is considered as the real threat to the high-tech nation and its people and the person that T'Challa should be the most worried about.
