Warning! Spoilers for Mech Strike: Monster Hunters #1 by Marvel Comics

Marvel's Black Panther just received a massive armor upgrade courtesy of Iron Man and Doctor Strange that makes his trademark claws more brutal than ever before. In a recent trailer for Mech Strike: Monster Hunters #1 by Marvel Comics, Stephen Strange reveals the updates he made to T'Challa's mech armor, detailing how he made the hero's weapons into even more bombastic features.

Mech Strike Monster Hunters by Marvel Comics is the latest chapter in the Avenger's adventures in their massive Iron Man-made armors. In the new series, Doctor Doom and Loki are among the villains who have acquired one of the Eyes of the Kraken and used the magical artifact to transform into giant monsters. With the help of Doctor Strange, who has the other Eye, Earth's Mightiest Heroes are becoming monsters themselves as they merge with their armors. Among the most notable hero upgrades is Black Panther, whose claws change considerably in his mech.

In a new trailer for Marvel's Mech Strike: Monster Hunters #1 by Christos Gage, Paco Diaz, Dono Sanchez-Almara, and VC's Cory Petit from Marvel Comics, Doctor Strange goes over the armor upgrade he gave to Black Panther. To fight the evil monster villains, the Sorcerer Supreme used the Eye of the Kraken to turn T'Challa's armor into a monster-slaying weapon. Included in its new features are a sword-like weapon emerging from his hand, wings with sharp spokes, spikes throughout his armor, and extended claws that make his vibranium weapons more brutal than ever.

While Black Panther and the Avengers' monster upgrades should help them turn the tide against their equally powerful villains, Doctor Strange using the Eye of Kraken to give them boosts in power could come back to bite him. The magical relic isn't exactly stable and its powers could corrupt the Avengers and ultimately create more enemies that need to be stopped. Considering how strong Black Panther's new armor is now, it would be a considerable challenge to stop him and his powerful claws if the magic turned him against his teammates.

However, the upgrades from Doctor Strange make Black Panther and the Avengers very prepared for their upcoming battle against the monster-sized villains. T'Challa's power-ups are some of his most impressive to date, as the advanced vibranium mech armor with numerous incredible features should be able to do serious damage to his evil opponents. With his new extended claws, Black Panther can keep his trademark hand-to-hand fighting style, while shredding those who stand in his way. Now, all the Avengers just need to hope that the magic imbued in them doesn't turn them against one another because they have what it takes to win.
