While most of the characters in Black Panther, save for a couple of the main ones, only majorly appeared in the one movie so far, they still had a big impact on fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most of the characters are well-written and have unique personalities, so fans started to care about and root for them right away.
If you’re a fan of Black Panther, you probably imagine which characters you’re most like, and one of the ways to gauge this is to look at Zodiac signs. This list looks at the character traits of each of these people to assign them an astrological sign.
Aries: Okoye
It can be hard to completely pin down a character to just a sun sign because their other signs, like their moon and rising, play a big role, too. However, it makes the most sense that Okoye would be an Aries sun because she’s a leader, independent, and assertive.
Plus, as Wakandan General and leader of the Dora Milaje, she definitely represents aspects of the God of War. However, her steadfast nature and loyalty mean she probably has a lot of earth planets, too.
Taurus: T’Challa
T’Challa is difficult to place in many ways because he’s so well-rounded. He has the sensitivity and emotional maturity of a water sign as well as the leadership and initiative skills of a fire sign.
However, one of the signs that fits him best is Taurus. He has a sense of stability and stubbornness that fits the sign. Plus, he’s also got a very prosperous and beautiful quality about him that is fitting for a sign ruled by Venus. And, Taurus is stubborn but also adaptable.
Gemini: W’Kabi
While Geminis tend to get a bad rep that they don’t always deserve, in this case, W’Kabi does fit this sign the best. Geminis are known for being flexible and adaptive, but on the more negative side, they can also be somewhat superficial and prone to changing their minds too quickly.
But, another positive thing is that they are rather sociable and intelligent.
Cancer: King T’Chaka
King T’Chaka was a great ruler, but he wasn’t perfect. So, he does represent both the positives and negatives of this cardinal sign.
Cancers are known for being nurturing and caring which are two traits T’Chaka definitely has. But, they are also a more reserved sign that can be more conservative and not prone to taking risks which reflects his leadership style.
Leo: Killmonger
While it could be easy to assume that Kilmonger is an Aries because people see him more as the villain who is somewhat more aggressive in nature. But he truly has the qualities of the Leo sign. He’s definitely a fire sign, and he’s got the activeness and authoritativeness of Leos.
However, he’s someone whose natural charisma and leadership skills have been warped as he uses the wrong means to justify his ends. In this way, he uses his fire sign skills and goes too far.
Virgo: Zuri
Zuri is Wakanda’s main shaman and a spiritual leader, and he is also an adviser to the king. While he does have some elements of a water sign because he is compassionate and insightful, he also has the reliability, intellect, and conscientiousness of a Virgo.
Virgos are one of the most stable and trustworthy signs around, and this fits Zuri really well.
Libra: Queen Ramonda
If there’s any sign that exemplifies Libras in the MCU, it’s Queen Ramonda. She has the queenly energy and nature of someone ruled by the planet Venus, and she’s also likable, fair, sociable, and just.
Even in her clothing choices and the way she carries herself, it’s clear that she exemplifies beauty and grace and is the type of person other people would follow.
Scorpio: Everett Ross
Everett Ross is the best example of Scorpio from the movie because he has both the strengths and weaknesses of this intense water sign.
He’s resourceful, cunning, and determined, but he can also be a bit manipulative and has an agenda that he doesn't always reveal. However, he’s not a bad person, he just tends to be extremely focused on his goals.
Sagittarius: Nakia
Nakia definitely represents the Archer because she is an adventurous and independent person. She is rather restless and outspoken which are also two key Sagittarius traits. Plus, she’s very passionate about what she believes in and committed to telling the truth.
She is someone who has big ideas and sees the possibilities, = and she helps T’Challa see that Wakanda can change some things in order to help other people and change the world.
Capricorn: M’Baku
M’Baku is an Earth sign, and it’s not difficult to see why. He’s rather disciplined in his approach to ruling, and he’s also a formidable force. Capricorns are the cardinal Earth sign, so they really represent the key aspects of this element.
This applies well to M’Baku because he is rather wise but also quite ambitious as evidenced by the fact he tries to take the crown from T’Challa at the start of the film. However, he’s also very fair and constant and follows the rules of engagement.
Aquarius: Shuri
Shuri has major air sign energy, and Aquarius is the perfect fit for her sun sign, although she likely has some Gemini or Scorpio in her chart, too. Air signs are all about the mind and intellect, but in Aquarius specifically, individuals are particularly inventive and original.
They are also known for being assertive and opinionated but also a little detached. This fits Shuri’s genius personality to a T.
Pisces: Bucky Barnes
Bucky Barnes is a great example of a Pisces, and in the MCU, he actually really is a Pisces as his birthday is March 10th. He’s rather reserved and sensitive, and he’s also someone who's lived many lifetimes in a sense which matches well with the dreamy and changeable fish sign.
He’s rather perceptive and also difficult to get to know, but he does have a tender side.
