Young Black Panther fans have decided to honor Chadwick Boseman by recreating several of his scenes from various Marvel films. Boseman joined the MCU in 2016 as T'Challa, aka Black Panther, making his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War. His performance was praised by many, especially those who immediately felt Boseman was the perfect actor to play T'Challa. He went on to appear in three other MCU films, including his solo adventure Black Panther. Boseman was expected to play a large role in the MCU's future, but his tragic death last Friday has changed things.

Boseman passed at age 43 after a four-year battle with colon cancer. His death sent shockwaves through Hollywood and his fanbase, as the majority of people were unaware he had been sick. Tributes were quick to pour in from across the globe; Boseman's former directors, co-stars, and fans all shared emotional messages online. In the days since the news broke, Boseman's time as T'Challa has received special attention as people remember the impact he had on the superhero genre.

In video shared by ikorodu bois, young Black Panther fans have gathered to "swede," or recreate, various T'Challa scenes from the MCU. This includes T'Challa's beautiful reunion with his father T'Chaka (John Kani) in the Ancestral Plane and his triumphant battle cry in Avengers: Infinity War. You can see the video down below.

This is a poignant tribute that really highlights Boseman's legacy. For many, Boseman was the first true piece of onscreen representation they had ever seen, especially in the case of young Black children. The number of people he inspired is impossible to measure, but it's clear he touched a lot of people based on the sheer number of tributes that have emerged in the past week. Watching young kids don costumes and recreate the world of Wakanda, as well as Boseman's own performance, is a fitting way to honor his memory.

Boseman's death is going to hit hard for a long time. Even beyond his work as an actor, he was a good man. Many of the tributes from his co-stars and directors have talked about how kind he was. Fellow Black Panther star Danai Gurira said Boseman "made everyone feel loved, heard and seen," while Michael B. Jordan praised how Boseman "cared about the kids, the community, our culture and humanity." Based on these testimonials, it's safe to say Boseman himself would've adored these fan recreations and might've shared them himself. It's truly tragic that he is no longer around to do so, but his fans and those who loved him best will keep his legacy alive for a long time.
