There are quite a few hidden components in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. From the beginning of the game's launch cycle, it became clear that the game was full of Easter eggs and hidden surprises, and the list of voice actors is no exception. There's some changes to classic voices, such as a new voice for Frank Woods, a veteran of multiple Black Ops games. On top of that, there's a few cameos from voice actors made famous from other productions, including one from a star of the NBC comedy The Office.

With over 100 actors, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was a huge production. Finishing and developing the game was quite a feat amidst the worldwide pandemic, even if there is a new COD every year. From the amount of effort they put in to the quality of their talent, the voice actors who worked on Black Ops Cold War deserve a bunch of credit.

Frank Woods has been a character in multiple titles in the Black Ops series. In Black Ops Cold War, he gets a new voice actor: Damon Victor Allen. Allen has been on dozens of different TV shows, such as Westworld, Young Sheldon, and Shameless, but Cold War is his first video game credit. Woods was previously voiced by James C. Burns during his iconic line "You... Can't... Kill Me!" in Black Ops 2.

Bruce Thomas is the voice of Russell Adler, a new secret agent in Black Ops Cold War. Thomas has quite a few video game credits to his name, but the most impressive is that he was the motion capture actor for Master Chief in Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians. He also has been the voice of Commissioner James Gordon in multiple Batman animated movies.

Chris Payne Gilbert voices Alex Mason. Previously, he also held the role of John Decker in the TV show Lucifer, and had a role in one episode of Friends.

Piotr Michael plays the role of Jason Hudson. Michael has acting credits all over the industry. He contributed to animated shows like Big Mouth, Archer, and many video games.

Navid Negahban plays Perseus, the main antagonist in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Negahban is best recognized for his part as the Sultan in the live-action remake of Disney’s Aladdin. He also voiced multiple NPC characters in Black Ops 2.

Damon Dayoub plays Lazar, a Middle East CIA specialist. Dayoub has a few roles as NPCs in games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Halo Wars 2. Dayoub is best known for playing Adam Eshel in NCIS. 

Reggie Watkins is the voice of Sims, Black Ops Cold War's tech guy who works for Adler. Watkins has had other small roles, including This Is UsBoschJustified, and Key and Peele, as well as a voice credit in The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. 

The voice of Helen Park, the MI6 operative, is Lily Cowles. Cowles was made famous in her role as Isobel Evans in Roswell, New Mexico, as well as Germaine Healy in BrainDead.

David Agranov is the name of the voice actor who portrays Mikhail Gorbachev, while Ronald Reagan is voiced by Jeff Bergman. Aranov had the role of Yuri in 2016's Ray Donovan. Bergman is a cartoon voice acting veteran, with roles in Looney Toons, Family Guy, and Uncle Grandpa. He's also going to be the voice of Sylvester in the upcoming Space Jam 2.

The most exciting cameo in Black Ops Cold War is from The Office legend Creed Bratton. Bratton lends his voice to Emerson Black, the Deputy Strategist in the CIA. Bratton portrayed himself, Creed, in the hit NBC comedy. He also was a member of the American rock group The Grass Roots.

Other actors who contributed to voice roles for Black Ops Cold War are Casey Campbell, Jason Culp, Andrew Divoff, Dan Donohue, Farshad Farahat, John Hoogenakker, Mark Ivanir and Kristina Klebe. The voice acting in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is well done throughout, and it brings the game to another level of realism. With a mix of new voices, series veterans, and cameos, it keeps players listening intently for clues.
