Hiram Garcia, the producer of DC's upcoming film Black Adam, revealed that he took Pierce Brosnan's Doctor Fate prop helmet from the set. Garcia is the current president of Seven Bucks Productions, the production company behind Dwayne Johnson's recent action blockbusters, including Jumanji and Jungle Cruise. Garcia and Johnson's latest work has been on DC Comics' Black Adam, which stars Johnson as the titular supervillain from the Shazam comics. The film will also introduce audiences to several other DC heroes, including Brosnan's mystical Doctor Fate.

Doctor Fate is the superhero identity of Kent Nelson. In the comics, Nelson was the son of an archaeologist who discovered the mysterious Helmet of Fate and gained its powers of sorcery. Doctor Fate is also one of the founding members of the Justice Society of America, along with Hawkman (appearing in the new film, played by The Invisible Man's Aldis Hodge). Brosnan is set to bring the hero to life on the big screen for the first time as he crosses paths with Johnson's Teth-Adam in the new film.

Speaking to Screen Rant during an interview for his latest film Red Notice, Garcia reveals what props he has taken home from his film sets. The producer isn't afraid to admit that he has "bits and bobs all over from stuff we have done." However, his most treasured new item is the Doctor Fate helmet prop, of which he says, "I'm very proud of that one." Garcia also adds that he has several old props from Dwayne Johnson's recent Hercules and Fast and Furious movies and that the props are good to "decorate around to hold onto memories." “I have some cool stuff from Black Adam that's coming. I have a really great Doctor Fate helmet that I'm really excited about. But I have little bits and bobs all over from stuff we've done because you just can't help but feel a connection to it. So I have some really fun things from when we did Hercules, from, I'm trying to think, some cool gear from the Fast and Furious universe. Just little bits that you can decorate around to hold onto memories. But I think right now at the top of my list is probably going to be some of the Black Adam stuff that's coming in. The Doctor Fate helmet I got is going to be... I'm very proud of that one.”

Fans got their first look at Brosnan's Doctor Fate in recent footage shown at DC FanDome. While he hasn't been seen fully suited up yet, the character can be seen holding the helmet while performing some magic spell. Brosnan is one of the most anticipated stars of the upcoming film and recently revealed he wore a motion-capture suit to bring the hero to life. The former 007 has also been bonding with his co-stars, including Atom-Smasher actor Noah Centineo by playing golf between filming.

Black Adam is generating a fair amount of hype from comic book movie fans online, with Johnson's role carrying years of anticipation behind it. The arrival of Doctor Fate in the DCEU is equally exciting, and some may be jealous that Garcia gets to look at the famous Helmet of Fate every day at home. The helmet is yet to be seen in action, but DC fans will be ready to see more of Brosnan's super-sorcerer as Black Adam heads towards theatrical release next year.
