Dwayne Johnson has the perfect response to his Black Adam co-star Aldis Hodge going golfing with Shazam: Fury of the Gods star Zachary Levi. During the early days of the DC Extended Universe, the plan was for Black Adam and Shazam to share the screen in their first appearances. The Rock's Black Adam was announced to be the villain of Shazam!, but that plan changed years later. This new path for the DCEU saw Johnson get a solo Black Adam movie instead, giving each character a chance to shine before they eventually collide.

Levi's Shazam! planted some seeds for The Rock's DC anti-hero, but there are so far no official plans for the characters to crossover. This is likely because progress on Black Adam is only now happening after all these years. The solo film will introduce multiple new characters to the DCEU. It contains the introduction of the Justice Society of America and members like Atom-Smasher (Noah Centineo), Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell), and Hawkman (Hodge). Now one of these co-stars has been seen hanging out with Levi, leading Johnson to deliver a great retort.

Black Adam and Shazam: Fury of the Gods are both currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia, and that allowed the stars of each to hang out in real life. Hodge and Levi shared images on their social media this weekend of them going golfing together. They teased the competition between them at a Topgolf location and asked fans who would win, and The Rock made it clear what he wants. In the comments of Hodge's post, Johnson said, "I don’t care if it’s golf, cooking or haiku poetry - if you don’t beat Shazam’s ass - you’re never flying the Hawk Cruiser again!!"

Johnson's response to Hodge and Levi hanging out and some friendly competition is a fun tease of the rivalry that exists between Black Adam and Shazam. The Rock clearly wants the Black Adam team to come out on top in any games, or future big-screen fights, between the two franchises. Hodge also has a lot on the line theoretically, as losing the Thanagarian Star Cruiser could be a big blow to Hawkman. Of course, taking the "Hawk Cruiser" from Hawkman could be easier said than done, even for someone as powerful as Black Adam.

Since the DCEU futures of Black Adam, Hawkman, and Shazam are not yet known, hopefully it will only be a matter of time before Team Shazam and Team Black Adam duke it out in theaters. Warner Bros. and DC Films have a great opportunity to pull off a secret crossover since both productions are happening at the same time and in the same location. Even if it is only a tease in one movie for a future conflict between them, such a scene in either Black Adam or Shazam: Fury of the Gods would be quite exciting for fans.
