Get your popcorn ready, because the drama is about to unfold on WE TV when it debuts Blac Chyna's first, of 13 hour-long episodes of The Real Blac Chyna, on Jan. 7.  For people who don’t remember this Kardashian-adjacent character, Chyna was THISCLOSE to being an official member of the Kar-Jen clan, during her engagement to Rob Kardashian. She later starred in an ill-fated reality show with Rob called, Rob & Chyna.

Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renee White, is the mother of two children. She has a four-year-old daughter, Dream, with Rob, and an eight-year-old son, King, with rapper Tyga, a man who was, well…formerly tied in the unsanctioned Biblical way, with her almost half-sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner.  A former stripper who wanted to use her earnings to pay her way through college, before ultimately dropping out, Chyna’s escapades on the reality show will be highlighted by her relationships. Joining her in her whack adventures will be her mother, Tokyo Toni, and a cadre of ex-romantic interests. TRBC also will offer viewers a peek at her many lawsuits, business ventures, and multitude of curiosities that underscore her unconventional life.

The show’s trailer promises much of what’s to come on ensuing episodes, according to E! “You might call me Blac Chyna, but my real name is Angela Renee White. You know Chyna from the gossip rags, blogs, social media, but you don’t know the girl that has fought her way to be one of the hottest influencers of pop culture today. This is my life unscripted, unfiltered, unedited. You think you know me, but you don’t,” added Chyna, harkening to that old-school early 2000s MTV tag line, from its celeb-fueled docu-series Diary, which opened with: "You think you know ... but you have no idea." And after watching the trailer, people might be compelled to add a hearty mid-2000s hipster slang, ‘damn skippy,’ we don’t!

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna

After a rough break-up and custody issues with Dream’s father, Rob, the ship might be righting itself as it relates to co-parenting between the two. Chyna also scored a legal victory earlier this month when she won her lawsuit against the Kar-Jen family to get any unaired footage from the second season of Rob & Chyna, turned over to her. Ditto any unaired footage of Chyna from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. In Chyna’s original lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family, she contended they not only interfered with her “prospective economic relations,” but she also accused Rob’s family of assault, battery, domestic violence and defamation, because of the cancellation of her and Rob’s show.

In response, Rob, his mother Kris Jenner, and his sister Kim, asked for Chyna’s lawsuit to be dismissed, but it wasn’t. Perhaps the old adage is true: the family that plays together, stays together. But it’s more than apparent that since Chyna and Rob’s breakup, coupled with the lawsuit, Chyna is in no mood to play.
