New set photos from Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) highlight Huntress' costume and show Cassandra Cain and Harley together. It took longer than expected, but Warner Bros. finally found the right project for Margot Robbie's return to her DC anti-hero role in Birds of Prey. After breaking out in Suicide Squad, she'll now headline an all-female team up movie that lets Harley work with Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell).

Production on Birds of Prey began earlier this year and the studio didn't waste any time letting fans get a sneak peek at the look of it. They released a short "teaser" that consisted of brief shots of the main cast members in their costumes, and the timing of the launch was perfect as set photos began to leak not too long after. There have been some fascinating details pulled from them already, such as Harley's changes to her tattoos indicating a split with the Joker.

Hollywood Pipeline has the latest batch of set photos from Birds of Prey that feature Harley with the young Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) and a full look at Huntress' costume. They shared a whole new batch of photos - two of which can be seen below. To check out more of the photos, follow the source link.

The photos of Cassandra and Harley together give an early glimpse at the dynamic at play in Birds of Prey. Harley and her fellow heroines will serve as the protectors of Cassandra after she discovers a rare diamond that belongs to Black Mask (Ewan McGregor). Even though it might make sense for them to be partially on the run or trying to maintain a low profile, they instead appear to be enjoying a trip to the grocery store. One of the more potentially revealing details of this scene is the dog food Harley is carrying, as it could indicate that Harley's pet hyenas will be introduced in the film.

As for Huntress, these photos provide us with the first proper full look at her costume. The previously released footage was only able to momentarily tease the look, and the lighting didn't allow for many details to be seen. These photos confirm that Huntress' traditional purple color scheme will be utilized in Birds of Prey, while her suit design looks to be both comfortable and tactical. She has a gun holstered on her right leg and the chain sash is an intriguing addition. And, even though she doesn't have her crossbow in these photos, we do know that it is in the film. As filming continues on Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), these likely won't be the last set photos that we see.
