The first Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) movie trailer drops tomorrow, as confirmed by Warner Bros. with a series of posters and a new look at the team. A spinoff from 2016's Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey will continue the story of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), seeing her team up with a group of female heroes to take on the villainous Black Mask (Ewan McGregor). In the movie, Harley will by joined by Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) and Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco), with DC villain Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina) also set to appear.

In recent weeks, Warner Bros. has started to launch the promotional push for Birds of Prey ahead of its February 2020 release date. In addition to the theater-only Birds of Prey teaser that screened with IT Chapter Two, the studio unveiled the film's first poster, offering official looks at the whole cast. Now, with Joker hitting theaters this week, Warner Bros. is gearing up to debut the first official Birds of Prey trailer so it can accompany the Joaquin Phoenix-led DC comics film.

On the film's official Twitter and Instagram profiles, Warner Bros. unleashed a slew of Harley Quinn posters focusing on the character's new look, and confirmed the first Birds of Prey movie trailer drops tomorrow, Oct. 1 in the process. Check out the posters, as well as a GIF of the full, female-led Birds of Prey team below.

Although the Birds of Prey posters mostly focus on Harley Quinn - which makes sense considering she's the most well known character as Robbie's portrayal was already established in Suicide Squad - the first official footage offers a look at the team. Harley Quinn's own squad unites and appears to be looking at a fallen bad guy, though the exact context of this scene is not yet known. It does appear to be from a massive fight scene first featured in the theater-only teaser. While the full Birds of Prey trailer could give fans more context for this scene, it will also reveal plenty more from the movie.

Aside from hyping up the new Birds of Prey teaser trailer, these posters also offer a more detailed look at Harley Quinn's costumes and tattoos in the upcoming film. The gold overalls outfit was previously seen in Birds of Prey set photos, but fans can get a better view of it in these posters. Plus, there's at least one change to Harley Quinn's tattoos since Suicide Squad, with the "J" on her right upper arm being transformed into a mermaid. That falls in line with the full title of the movie, previewing Harley Quinn's emancipation from Joker. Whether Joker appears in Birds of Prey still remains to be seen - though Jared Leto did tease his return as Joker - but perhaps the trailer will reveal as much.

For now, fans will just have to wait and see what the Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) trailer has in store when it drops online tomorrow.
