The stars of Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) announced in a new video that they'll be having a panel this year at CCXP in Brazil. Warner Bros. and DC's upcoming film centers on Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), who made her cinematic debut in David Ayer's Suicide Squad back in 2016, as she teams up with a new batch of heroes, Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), along with a Gotham City detective named Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez). Together, they strive to protect young Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) from two big villains, Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) and Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina). The film will continue Harley's story, but will not be a Suicide Squad sequel.

Directed by Cathy Yan with a script by Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey has become a highly-anticipated 2020 release for many. The film's first trailer gave anxiously-awaiting fans a first-look at the female-led project and what to expect from its story. Marketing is now in full swing for the DC production, with the Birds of Prey team both in front of and behind the camera now making their rounds at various Cons to keep the excitement at an all-time high. Unfortunately, DC skipped San-Diego Comic-Con, but the Birds of Prey team made an appearance at New York Comic-Con and now, they're bringing the fun to Brazil.

The Birds of Prey Twitter account released a video with a few of the film's cast members that is captioned, "We're coming for you Brazil #CCXP!" In the quick little video, all of the leading ladies express their excitement in attending the Con and bringing the Birds of Prey party to Brazil. The buzz around Birds of Prey has only amped up since the first trailer's release. Many people have expressed how this film shows that different can be good in the world of superhero films, especially since Birds of Prey appears to veer even further away from the doom-and-gloom atmosphere of Zack Snyder's initial DC installments. James Wan's Aquaman and David F. Sandberg's Shazam also boasted a lighter DC atmosphere, but this time around it seems that Birds of Prey is truly relishing in its vibrant neon coloring and campy tone, along with really embracing its feminist storyline similar to Wonder Woman. Hopefully, this change in style and direction will prove to be another successful step for DC and Warner Bros.' films.

Although the film is still a long way out from being released, it's clear to see that the cast and crew are enjoying promoting the highly-anticipated project. So far, the trailers have shown that Birds of Prey will surely be a wild, hilarious, and fun ride for audiences, and there's still plenty of time left to continue building that hype. The crowds at CCXP in Brazil can expect to see the Birds of Prey cast, along with the film's director Cathy Yan, at their panel on December 5.
