The Bachelor in Paradise fan-favorite star Tia Booth has found her happily ever after with her fiance, Taylor Mock, who proposed to her on stage at the April 10 Bachelor Live on Stage show in Atlanta. Tia, who is 30-years-old, first caught the attention of Bachelor Nation in 2018, when she was a contestant on Arie Luyendyk's The Bachelor season. She also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise seasons 5 and 7, but did not find love on the beach. That left fans wondering if she would ever find her person.

In October 2021, Tia from BIP revealed her relationship with 26-year-old Taylor via Instagram. Tia had met Taylor before she left for Paradise, but they did not become a couple until she returned home. They have known each other for over a year, and have been dating for almost nine months. Their anniversary is July 22, and they now live together in Nashville, Tennessee.

After Taylor proposed at the Bachelor Live on Stage show, the news of Tia's engagement spread quickly. Bachelor Nation was ecstatic to see her so happy after her journey on the show. In a post on Instagram, Tia shared a picture of herself wearing the ring alongside Taylor, writing, "Never been more shocked or sure in my life. I love you so much Tay, my FIANCÉ!!!" Tia, the co-host of the Click Bait With Bachelor Nation podcast, shared even more details about the engagement on Instagram.

Tia Was Surprised

On her Instagram story, Tia admitted that she was "one thousand percent shocked" that Taylor proposed, even though she knew that it would happen eventually and that they "were gonna be married and live happily ever." However, she did not know that it was going to be that soon. She said that he had been trying to throw her off by saying that it would happen by the end of the year, so she did not suspect it at all. She thought that she was going to be giving out a date card at the Bachelor Live on Stage show, and Taylor proposed instead.

Taylor Asked Tia's Mom For Her Blessing

Tia revealed that her mom knew, "of course." She said that Taylor had asked for her blessing a few weeks before. He did not have the chance to ask Tia's dad for his blessing before he passed away in February after a year-long battle with colon cancer. However, Tia said that she knows that he would have said yes to Taylor, "after he gave him a hard time of course."

Tia's Bachelor Nation Friends Helped Taylor Plan

Becca Kufrin, who is the host of the Bachelor Live on Stage show, knew that Taylor was going to propose, along with her boyfriend, Thomas Jacobs, who helped with the planning. The only Bachelor Nation star in attendance who did not know was Maurissa Gunn, and Tia said that, in the video, "you can see her genuine excitement. She threw all her stuff so she could jump up and down."

Tia And Taylor Can Hardly Remember What He Said

Tia laughed when asked what Taylor actually said to her as he proposed, remarking, "We 'think' he said, 'sorry Bachelor In Paradise didn't work out for you. I'm glad you came back to Nashville to me?' Something or other. 'I wanna spend the rest of my life with you?' Got down on one knee - 'Will you marry me?'" Tia explained that they can hardly remember what happened, saying, "We blacked out."

Taylor Had An Allergic Reaction Before The Proposal

The week before he proposed, Taylor suffered an allergic reaction which caused his face to swell up. Tia documented it on Instagram. After the proposal, Tia revealed that Taylor was going to propose even if his nose was still swollen. That was because he had "already hyped himself up for it."

Tia Chose The Ring Style

Tia confessed that she did not know which style of ring she liked until a few weeks ago, when she realized that she loved emerald and baguette cuts, which her mom has also always admired. She said that she loves "anything that's just kind of different and not just super trendy." Tia knew that she wanted yellow gold because it was "timeless," and she wanted something "classic," "a solitaire with a thin band." She explained that she sent Taylor a picture of the exact ring that she loved from American Jewelry Company, and they made it "so fast." She was thrilled with the ring.

Tia's engagement at the Bachelor Live On Stage show was a great ending to her story with the Bachelor franchise. Although she will still host the podcast and perhaps make guest appearances on future seasons of the show, her time as a contestant is finally over because she has found true love with Taylor. Tia has finally found her happily ever after.
