The release date for Big Mouth season 6 is revealed in a trailer referencing its spinoff show Human Resources. Big Mouth, the hit animated comedy series created by Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, Nick Kroll, and Jennifer Flackett, received a renewal through to season 6 back in 2019, a result of the show's loyal viewers and critical praise. Big Mouth is based loosely on the adolescent lives of Goldberg and Kroll, with Kroll voicing an over-the-top fictionalized version of himself and comedian John Mulaney starring as Andrew Glouberman, based on Goldberg. The show explores puberty, sexuality, friendships, and relationships among other young-adult themes, with guides dubbed "hormone monsters" that lead them through all the trials and tribulations that come with growing up.

In a video posted by Netflix, monsters Connie and Maury reveal the "due date" of their baby, aka Big Mouth's premiere date, October 28. The pair confirms that what happens in Human Resources affects Big Mouth, setting up continuity and canon between the series. Check out the teaser video below:

Human Resources depicts the hormone monsters in their workplace as they are assigned humans to keep an eye on. Released on Netflix in March 2022, Human Resources received similar praise and audience reaction as Big Mouth. It has already been renewed for season 2. With Maury and Connie pregnant and due soon, it will be exciting to see how the two shows interact and play off of one another when Big Mouth returns in a couple of months.
