The Big Mouth season 4 trailer promises a December release date and a lot of new storylines. The Netflix show has already been picked up for at least three more seasons due to its previous success, which likely stems from its cast of comedy legends such as Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Maya Rudolph, Jordan Peele, and more. Big Mouth follows a group of middle schoolers (all voiced by adults) as they navigate their confusing hormones. The show uses humor to answer many questions about puberty, no matter how personal.

Based on its newly released trailer, Big Mouth season 4 will dive deeper into the problems, scenarios, and drama that humans encounter as they mature. The trailer opens with best friends Nick and Andrew going off to summer camp where they meet Tito the Anxiety Mosquito, the show's latest monster to personify mental illness, following the Depression Kitty and the Shame Wizard. It appears Tito will have a big part, as it is seen buzzing around multiple characters as they deal with the anxiety that can feel unavoidable as a preteen.

Season 4 will also introduce at least two new cast members, the hilarious John Oliver and Ayo Edebiri, who will voice Missy after Jenny Slate stepped down from playing the biracial character to make room for a Black actress. The show will also explore new relationships, the hardships of moving, and the challenges of coming out to family members. Big Mouth season 4 will be available to stream on Netflix on December 4.
