Big Brother 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby is feeling grateful that his co-star Mike "Boogie" Malin was found guilty of stalking him. The last two years have been extremely turbulent for Will Kirby and Mike Boogie's friendship. These two met all the way back in 2001, when they were both cast on BB2 and formed the series' first-ever alliance: Chilltown. Playing together, Will and Boogie got very far into the game, and Dr. Will ended up winning the whole thing.

A few years later, Dr. Will Kirby and Mike Boogie Malin competed together once again on Big Brother 7: All-Stars. This time around, Will got to the final four but was taken out by a team-up between Janelle Pierzina and Erika Landin. In any case, Boogie avenged his Chilltown ally by going to the end and winning the $500,000 grand prize. Unfortunately, their friendship reached a dramatic turning point in 2019, when Mike Boogie started to deliberately stalk Will Kirby and his family.

This week, Mike Boogie Malin was found guilty of stalking Dr. Will Kirby, finally closing the case on this two-year saga between the former Chilltown friends. Now, Will Kirby's lawyer has shared a new statement with Us Weekly in reaction to Mike Boogie's sentence: "On behalf of Dr. Kirby, we are grateful to the criminal justice system for holding Mr. Malin accountable for his actions." The lawyer added that many people don't report stalking to local authorities, and then asked the public and the press to respect the privacy of Will Kirby and his family.

It is obvious to any Big Brother fan that Dr. Will Kirby would never have taken such drastic measures against Mike Boogie if things weren't that serious. Will and Mike were the best of friends for many, many years, and they really cared about each other even many years after they last competed together on BB7. On the other hand, according to the criminal reports, Boogie stalked Dr. Will very intensely, and it was the right decision to involve the authorities and the lawyers in this situation. Now, Boogie will be paying for his crimes for a while.

This is heartbreaking news to Big Brother fans, but it is very understandable why Will Kirby decided to make that call. Unfortunately, their Chilltown friendship is ending on a very sour note, but Mike Boogie was responsible for pushing it to this place.
