Big Brother 23 star Whitney Williams exchanged flirty comments with BB20 star Winston Hines on Instagram. The fans got to know Whitney after she was cast on BB23, and she hit the ground running by winning the competition to become a Team Captain during the premiere. For weeks, Whitney played alongside her Aces teammates Derek Xiao, Hannah Chaddha, and Brent Champagne. Alas, the team turned on Brent in week 3, and it then turned on Whitney in week 4.
Meanwhile, Winston Hines rose to fame after being cast as one of the 16 players competing on Big Brother 20. Winston was one of the six official members of the Level Six alliance, which dominated the season. However, Winston was the first Level Six ally to get evicted on the show. A year later, CBS brought Winston back to reality TV by casting him on Love Island USA season 1. After being introduced on day 9, Winston was dumped from the villa on day 15.
On Thursday, August 19, the official Instagram profile for Big Brother asked its followers a question: "Who is your all-time biggest BB crush?" Overall, many former BB houseguests chimed in with their own answers. For example, Brent Champagne said Janelle Pierzina's name, Rachel Swindler said Hayden Moss' name, and Angela Rockstar said "the whole cast of [Big Brother] 9." But as seen in the screenshot below, one particular interaction in the comments stood out to the fans. Whitney Williams commented, "Obvs the intimate BB bromance [Brett Robinson] & [Winston Hines]. This isn't the first time for Big Brother alumni (and Love Island alumni) to be flirting outside the show on social media. These reality TV stars are interconnected by their ties to CBS, and these types of interactions do happen from time to time. It should also be noted that a lot of Big Brother showmances have stood the test of time. In fact, BB has formed more successful couples than dating shows like The Bachelor and Love Island. This interaction between Whitney and Winston is obviously not a huge deal, but it's still noteworthy that she chose to tag him in the comments and that he chose to directly reply to her mention.
The fans will keep an eye out on social media to see if Whitney and Winston will have other public exchanges on Instagram. Who knows, maybe this is the start of a great friendship between two former Big Brother players.
