Big Brother 23's Whitney Williams is opening up about her past life struggles as she is preparing to move into her new home. Whitney's game was off to a strong start this summer after she won her first competition inside the house. Despite being crowned one of four team captains, Whitney was ultimately evicted prior to making it to the jury house.

Because she returned home prior to the conclusion of the season, the mom of two was able to watch the rest of the summer unfold on TV. Because of this, Whitney was able to hear the things the houseguests were saying inside the diary room, including some not-so-nice things about herself. Towards the end of the season, Whitney called out the season's runner-up Derek Fraizer for his rude comments regarding her BB Comic character. The drama has allegedly been resolved since the conclusion of the season.

Although Whitney did not win the 750K cash prize at the end of Big Brother 23, she did come out on top. Whitney took to Twitter to open up about her past life struggles as she prepares to move into her first home. The post started off by admitting that she believes nearly "every working mom" has a period of time where they feel what they are going through is "impossible;" however, they always manage to push through. Whitney then revealed, "I'm proud to say that I've made it through over 15years of what I considered 'impossible'." Throughout her life, the 30-year-old makeup artist has experienced depression, loneliness, and even abuse, but now she feels she is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Whitney recalled some of the hardest moments in her life such as dropping out of school to work because she was living on her own or living in someone's attic with her two sons. Despite the struggles, Whitney has always been a hard worker. For years, she would work 60+ hours a week just so she and her kids could eat. Despite feeling like she would never get through these rough times, Whitney proudly admitted, "for the first time in my life I feel confident that I am headed in the right direction." All of her hard work and giving up personal pleasures such as reuniting with the BB23 cast in Florida for Halloween is finally paying off. At the conclusion of the post, Whitney revealed that she and her two sons will "finally" be moving out of their current apartment and into their first house by the end of the month.

In no way did the Big Brother alum share this lengthy post to receive sympathy from her followers. Instead, she is hopeful that her vulnerability will help someone out there that finds themselves in a similar situation to that of hers. Despite not making it as far as she had hoped while competing inside the Big Brother house, Whitney has since grown her following large enough to have a platform to inspire others on.
