Stars from hit shows such as Survivor and Vanderpump Rules are allegedly being considered for the next season of Celebrity Big Brother. Towards the end of Big Brother season 23 in September, longtime host Julie Chen Moonves announced that Celebrity Big Brother would be returning for season 3 in the winter of 2022.

The first season of Celebrity Big Brother aired in 2018. The season was much shorter than that of a typical season of the show. The stars only spent 26 days inside the Big Brother house compared to the 85 days the season 23 finalists spent inside the house this past summer. Actress Marissa Jaret Winokur was the first star to win the competition series. The celebrity edition of the show returned in 2019 for its second season, during which Tamar Braxton took home a unanimous win.

Julie, as well as producers, had been pushing for another season of the celebrity edition of the show for quite some time. Now it is finally happening. According to Monsters & Critics, both Survivor stars and Vanderpump Rules stars are allegedly under consideration to move into the Big Brother house this upcoming winter. Survivor legend and fan-favorite Boston Rob may be taking on a new reality show. He has already won Survivor, and now he may be adding a Big Brother win to his resume. These rumors originally come from the reliable Twitter fan account @Spoilergirl1, who often shares inside information for Big Brother.

In addition to Boston Rob, Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor is also in talks for the celebrity-filled season. The runner-up of American Idol season 2, Clay Aiken, may also make his return to television by competing inside the Big Brother house this winter. TV personality Tiffany Pollard as well as political consultant and former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway may also be a part of the new cast. Kellyanne was a part of President Donald Trump's administration. Should Kellyanne join the cast, she would be considered the "big name" of the season. Despite spending less time inside the house than typical houseguests do, the casts of Celebrity Big Brother tend to get paid much more than the casts of regular seasons, making it much more worthy for them to fit the show into their busy schedules.

The potential of these stars joining the cast of Celebrity Big Brother still remains a rumor. CBS has yet to reveal any details about the new season aside from the fact that it will air in the winter of 2022. It is assumed the season will premiere sometime in either February or March. Should it follow the format of the previous celebrity editions of the show, the season will most likely only air for one month. The official cast of the season will be revealed by CBS closer to the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother.
