Amongst the 16 brand new houseguests competing in season 23 of Big Brother is Christian Birkenberger, and fans want to know more about his past modeling career. Since the season premiered just last week, fans are still getting to know each player. They are recently learning that Christian was once a model prior to his Big Brother career.
Christian is one of the younger players competing on the show this season. At just 23 years old, Christian works as a general contractor in his hometown of Harwinton, Connecticut. There is no doubt Christian enjoys physical activities as his physique is very toned and muscular. Not only that, but Christian has also already proven himself to be good at physical competitions. To top it all off, he has a head of gorgeous curly locks and bright blue eyes.
With a physical physique and blue eyes like his, it is no surprise Christian once took up modeling as a career. According to Model Management, Christian was once "a professional model with representation across the Northeast United States." It is unclear how long ago Christian began modeling as well as when his career first started; however, his Instagram bio does list his account as a "fashion model." The Kings Team captain has previously worked with both photographers and directors for different advertisement shoots. He has appeared in both photos as well as videos. Christian has "experience in areas of runway, fit modeling, freeze modeling, print modeling and commercial acting."
Some of Christian's past shoots include working with fashion designers as well as being featured in a Six Flags commercial. He even once modeled wedding outfits for a local news station's live broadcast. According to his Instagram bio, Christian currently works with two modeling agencies. One is True Model Management while the other is Model Club Inc. Many of his posts include numerous hashtags which is most likely Christian's way of trying to gain both a larger following as well as exposure for his career. One fan claimed on Reddit that Christian once stated that he wishes he had a better acting resume. He allegedly went on to say that being on the show will help him gain exposure. The user did not note when or where he made these comments.
As fans begin to learn more about Christian's modeling career, they are starting to wonder if he was actually recruited for the show rather than simply being an applicant. While this upsets some fans who would prefer to see a house full of genuine fans of the show, others claim the show needs a balance between the two. It is unclear why Christian opted out of listing modeling as his career for Big Brother; however, he is not the only cast member to lie about their occupation this season. Perhaps he thought people would look at him differently if he revealed his modeling career. As longtime fans know, anything and everything can be held against a player inside that house.
