Nicole Franzel from Big Brother recalled her "magical" C-section delivery. She and her husband Victor Arroyo, who also competed inside the Big Brother house during season 18, announced they were expecting their first child together back in January. Two months later, the couple tied the knot after being forced to postpone their big day due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Friday, July 23, Nicole and Victor welcomed their son Victor "Arrow" Arroyo IIII into the world. Not long after his birth, Victor shared the news on Nicole's Instagram page. He assured fans that both Nicole and baby Arrow were doing well after the early morning delivery. In the first look fans got of Arrow, his tiny finger held his mom's hand from his bedside crib. Arrow weighed 6lb. 15 oz. and measured 20 inches at his birth. Nicole and Victor waited a few days to share a full photo of their new son.

Almost two weeks after becoming a first-time mom, Nicole shared the details of her delivery. In an interview with Us Weekly, Nicole described Arrow's arrival as "magical." A few weeks prior to her labor, Nicole shared with fans that her doctors scheduled her for a C-section delivery after realizing her baby was breech. Although she was quite nervous about having a C-section delivery, Nicole admitted everything went smoothly.  The best part was that she "didn’t have to go through the labor part at all!" Nicole said, "The whole surgery only took 20 minutes, and I was immediately given my baby to do skin-to-skin and breast-feed."

Nicole's hubby Victor was by her side through the whole experience. Victor helped Nicole remain calm throughout the entire delivery while encouraging her as well. When baby Arrow made his first appearance, Victor became emotional. Nicole described the whole delivery as "magical." Nicole anticipated a "long and painful" delivery; however, to her surprise, it was relatively short. In addition to this, Nicole "didn't feel a thing." Nicole feared the spinal would numb her but not calm her nerves. This was not the case, as Nicole no longer found herself panicking after receiving the anesthetic. She said, "It was all a very calm birth. A very relaxing atmosphere, which I wasn’t expecting.”

With every day that goes by, Nicole becomes stronger and stronger. She is still a little sore, but she is feeling a lot better and is "recovering well." It took Nicole about a week to get her energy to walk around again. Victor has been a huge help as the couple adjusts to parenthood together. They have worked together to create a sleep schedule so they can each get some sleep throughout the night. Victor has also taken on dirty diaper duty. As Nicole continues to heal and adjust to her new life, she also continues to update fans on social media.
