Nicole Franzel has personally apologized to Ian Terry for taking part in the mocking of his autistic rocking on Big Brother 22: All-Stars. The fans first got to know Ian on BB14, where he was just a 21-year-old college student from New Orleans, Louisiana. That season featured four returning houseguests: Dan Gheesling, Janelle Pierzina, Mike Boogie Malin, and Britney Haynes. As the weeks went by, it seemed like BB10 winner Dan was going to become the first two-time winner in the history of the show, but Ian came out of the left field and won over Dan in the finale by a 6-1 jury vote.

Two years later, the fans met 21-year-old college student Nicole Franzel on Big Brother 16. She was one of the smartest players on the season and the only female houseguest that actually threatened Derrick Levasseur's methodical gameplay on the show. Considering how much potential she had, producers brought her back for BB18, and they weren't wrong. This time, she got to the very end and won the $500,000 grand prize over Paul Abrahamian. In 2020, Ian and Nicole were cast as the only two former winners on Big Brother 22. They initially were allies, but Nicole rubbed fans the wrong way when she took part in the mocking of Ian's autism on the show.

Now that Big Brother: All-Stars has ended, Nicole Franzel is doing a lot of housekeeping when it comes to her reality TV friendships. She reportedly unfollowed people like Cody Calafiore, Daniele Donato, and Derrick Levasseur on Instagram. However, the fans had yet to hear from Nicole about what was done and said to Ian on BB22. In an interview with ET Canada (seen below), Nicole finally addressed that situation. She said, "I have talked to Ian one-on-one. I had apologized and it was accepted. I apologize to anyone that that has hurt. I'm still trying to navigate and understand the whole situation." Nicole then talked about Ian being her biggest priority right now. She wants to fix her friendship with Ian and make sure that he understands where she was coming from. As the interviewer moved on to the next question, Nicole was seen bursting into tears. Overall, it's clear that her tears were coming from talking about Ian in the previous answer.

It's safe to say that Nicole Franzel didn't have fun on BB22, and the post-season following the finale has been just as heavy and tough for her. For now, she is trying to be deliberate about the interviews and statements that she puts out in the world. She has yet to make an official return to Instagram as well. After all, she's a social media influencer and podcaster, so the fans are expecting to see or hear something from her in the coming days or weeks.

Big Brother 22: All-Stars has ended, but the situations that happened inside the house have followed these contestants now that they're back out in the real world. As always, expect the unexpected from this show and its star.
